This is a later facelift version of the W211/S211 E-Class Estate in Avantgarde spec. It comes in a deep metallic green with chrome trim and a contrasting beige interior with cream leather and maple inlay. It’s the 7-seat variant with the 7G-tronic Automatic Gearbox. The facelift addressed the earlier model’s electrical issues, had a sleeker appearance, increased power and an improved braking system. I managed to find this low mileage Irish car with one lady owner 9 years ago, and I’ve maintained it consistently since through an Independent Mercedes Specialist. It’s just passed its NCT, and the Estate’s self-levelling rear suspension system was recently upgraded with both Air Suspension Bags replaced. This car has serious power, huge load space and the flexibility of optional 7-seats for families. I’m just not doing the miles anymore to justify the Tax on it.
