Description

Respray needed The subframe kit is a Watsons Rally conversion consisting of the modified driveshafts, shortened suspension etc. The Watsons wiring loom was also used to help keep the engine bay clean and neat. The engine is from a 1996 Civic Del Sol and has been bored to 1640cc. It has a Skunk2 Pro Series inlet manifold, larger fuel injectors and 4-2-1 Toyosport stainless exhaust manifold. A Honda Integra Type R gearbox has been installed giving shorter gear ratios and the benefit of the Limited Slip Diff which with this much power is a huge benefit. I have also installed a Japspeed 2 core alloy radiator. The front end is a Clubman shaped Curly carbon fibre which is closed weave and gel coated. The bonnet is ABS Motorsport open weave carbon fibre. Rear subframe has been replaced with a beam axle conversion and Gaz coilovers on fast road springs. The dash is a custom dash with an ETB DigiDash II Lite Speedo which has been professionally calibrated. The dash also contains Drift electronic Voltmeter, Water Temp and Oil Pressure gauges as well as all new switch gear. The only thing that is a little bit off is the fuel level sensor. At 20% reading you are really about 10% or less. The interior has Newton Commercial carpets and Honda Prelude Gen 3 seats. The rear seats are customised the original civic rear seats and have fitted them in the back. It has a DTA ECU and was tuned up fully and has a good smooth power curve. The VTEC has been set to come in at ¾ throttle meaning the car is a joy to drive slowly as well as quickly. It come in at approx 4200 rpm rather than 5500rpm and I have limited it to 7600rpm rather that allowing it all the way to 8000.
