Mk1 Golf Gti project

For sale is an original Mk1 GTI 1.6 Project. All parts available with the car including some new parts not yet fitted. Car needs some work and has a few patches of rust as seen in the pictures, overall it’s not in a bad condition considering the age but it is a project and needs a restoration and repainting, it was running about 5 years ago but water damage to the fuse box meant It hasn’t run since,I got a replacement Mk1 fuse box but doesn’t seem to be compatible with the Gti so replacement needed. The car will need to be winched up on a trailer or I could arrange delivery at an additional cost. This is a very manageable project for someone who knows what they are doing and it’s an opportunity to own and save one of the last remaining original hot hatchbacks. 82 C reg. No swaps and please no time-wasters, I will listen to genuine offers reflective of what it is (a genuine MK1 Gti) and I’m not giving the car away regardless of its restoration requirement.
