Nissan Datsun Laurel C31 only 9700miles!!!

Once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase possibly the lowest mileage C31 Nissan Datsun Laurel in the world. This laurel is 1985, the change over year between Nissan and Datsun and has been sitting up for most of its 40 years. It has only covered just over 9700 miles!! Still on original tyres. To make it even rarer its a 5 speed manual car as most of these were automatic. The inside is still like new, absolutely unbelievable condition with some plastic covers still on the seats. The body is as you would expect a car with such low mileage. The shell of the car is still excellent, especially for a Laurel as most were rotten by 10 years old. The chassis, sills, strut towers, arches, pockets, floor, boot etc are all absolutely perfect. There are 2 small areas of rust to attend to, 2” square under the battery tray and a small section inside the drivers door where the drain is. There is some bubbling starting around the sunroof. Lacquer is peeling so it will need repainting. Some chrome coming off door handles and trim. Other than that the car is perfect. Has to be seen to be believed. The engine is not running and will need attention. It’s turning over but knocking so the history of the engine is unknown. Maybe why it was parked up. Brakes are all free. Electric windows mirrors and sunroof and wipers on the front headlights. Fabulous car for its time. My father had many of these in the early 90’s. This is Very reluctant sale due to lack of storage . Its Still on UK plates. I can register it on Southern plates for new owner if needs be. A very nice and easy restoration project that will sure to be a show stopper. Price is firm at €5000.
