Triumph Spitfire 1500

Late model Triumph Spitfire 1500. Owned 10 years. Runs, drives with lots of work done over this time and all parts collected to make it perfect. I was planning on doing the required welding and then spraying it myself but new child and other projects force sale. NCT exempt and 56 euro tax. Good points: Has overdrive Twin stainless exhaust Clutch done under 10k miles ago Electronic ignition Comes with hard top, soft top and tonneau cover Firestone tyres, very good tread Extensive service history Map reading light, rare factory option Rear bumper chrome good I’ve owned 4 spitfires over the years and this is the fastest, nice strong engine. Bad points: Needs repair to boot lid plus drivers rear wing, door and sill. Counter to above: Comes with the repair panel for wing, a rust free door and the complete sill plus end cap panel and a rust free boot lid Additional spares A non overdrive gearbox and propshaft Original seats, has mx5 seats fitted Front bumper with good chrome Passenger sill A few other panels Complete wiring loom Too much else to list There is a lot here, everything is included to finish the car plus spares to keep it going, being from England myself I’ve always brought parts back for it so really it does have all it would need for keeping it roadworthy for many years to come. Very good project vehicle for the right person.
