Vintage camper

VW LT28 Mk 1 1980 2.0l petrol 4 speed gearbox 103,544 miles Original engine still running on lead additive. CVRT exempt. Motor caravan on VLC. Mechanically good. Recent maintenance includes; Timing belt. Fan belt. Oil, air & fuel filters. Radiator refurbished and coolant replaced. Top wishbone bushings. Ball joints. Starter battery and leisure battery recently replaced. 4 very good Hankook tyres. Coach built camper conversion. All original items present, including: •Fridge. •Gas hob and grill (all would need hooking up to gas source as they were not connected to gas since the lpg line was disconnected. I've always used a camping stove). •Sink •Water pump and heater (present but not working). Was running on lpg at some point- components present but disconnected. Zig electrical controls for alternator charging or 230v mains external hook up. Plenty of storage compartments and cupboards. Solid fuel stove - incredibly cosy. Chemical cassette toilet in dedicated hidden compartment Overhead cab storage. Removable table. Seats and table the bed base. 2 berth. Has been in use up to early summer. Lots of history present including brochures, photos, service records and some details of work carried out while in my ownership. The bodywork requires attention, as seen in the photos. Replacement sliding door included in sale. The chassis, cross members and floor are, however, in very good condition. Has an uninvestigated and undiagnosed running issue that appears after a prolonged drive - slight hesitation/misfire. As I make such frequent use of a camper, I can't afford the downtime necessary to carry out the required work and improvements. Sold as seen.
