Beetle.ie and Volkswagen Ireland are delighted to present the famous 1950 Ballsbridge Beetle. This is not only the first Beetle assembled in Ireland but it’s the first Beetle assembled outside of Germany, which placed Ireland firmly at the forefront of Volkswagen’s global history. This is an exclusive event for owners and drivers of classic aircooled Volkswagens. Your aircooled VW is your ticket to this event so once you arrive at Volkswagen HQ, the barrier will raise to let you in. You will get to park amongst many classic aircooled Volkswagens from all over the island as well as Number 1. Professional photographers will be onsite to capture the day so see you in Liffey Valley at 12pm this Sunday ,July 27th. *Please note that this is an exclusive event that is only open to drivers of classic aircooled Volkswagens such as Beetles, Fastbacks, Notchbacks, Type 2 Split Screens, Type 2 Bay Windows etc. Sadly, we will have to refuse entry to pedestrian visitors or visitors not in aircooled Volkswagens. For those driving aircooled Volkswagens however, simply pull up to the gate and your classic VW becomes your free entry ticket!* See you all on Sunday!
