Yamaha 40Hp Outboard - 2 Stroke - Long Shaft. Model 40QM. Ran 18 months ago but had no tell tale water cooling trickle to the rear — I diagnosed it as a failed water pump impeller. I've already stripped the housing and impeller out, so that job is half done. You just need to source replacement parts and drop them in. The lower unit took a knock at some point in a previous life and was welded by a prior owner — visible in the photos. It's not pretty but it held. Also needs: new anode, stop button (missing when I bought it), general service, and minor adjustment to the rear hood catch. What's NOT included: No Remote control box No Fuel tank No Tiller (no tiller fitted) Could potentially be converted back to tiller control — worth investigating if that suits your setup.
