Antique Russian Diamond Filigree Ring - circa 1920

For sale is this simply stunning diamond ring dating from around the 1920/30s. The ring is set in the centre with a fabulous transitional cut diamond weighing approx. 1.3ct and held in a collet setting within a filigree frame with 16 small round cut diamonds to the outer edges. The filigree work is all platinum and the setting is raised above a beautiful split shouldered 18ct yellow gold band. The design is beautiful and the diamonds are dazzlers!!! The diamonds total approx. 1.9ct The ring is fully hallmarked with the Russian hallmark for 18ct gold and is also numbered, so the ring has certainly travelled throughout its history. The ring has been re-sized at some point also at the base. The finger size is a small I1/2 (US 4.5) and can easily be re-sized up or down to any size.
