Vintage Yellow Sapphire Solitaire Ring - 18ct

For sale is a beautiful little sapphire ring dating from around the 1950/60s. The ring is set with an oval cushion cut, yellow sapphire, weighing approx. 2.75/3ct and held in an unusual 9 claw setting and raised above a pierced and carved ornate setting. The sapphire is a beautiful pale lemon yellow colour and the setting is raised above a very unusual hobnail design band all the way around. The setting and band are so unusual and very unique. This would make an amazing sapphire engagement ring and simply a stunning yellow sapphire ring. The band is fully hallmarked 18ct gold and the finger size is a N 1/2 and can easily be re-sized up or down. A stunning and unique ring that will certainly stand out from the norm.
