Had my MK7 Golf GTD engine rebuilt here recently, and I couldn’t be happier. Before, it was smoky and running really rough, but now it’s running perfectly and even feels more powerful! The price was fair, and they offer a good warranty, hope i wont need their services again but if I ever do, this will be the first place I call. Highly recommend!

Called a week in advance. Booked in. Dropped at 9am to check oil on spark plugs and possible issue with brake piston. Had the car for 7 hours and "didn't get a chance" to look at it. Why bother taking bookings?

Had time to drive the car 40km to "collect a part for another car" though... Wow. Worst garage experience of my life.

The fact that you respond with such an awful attitude towards your terrible service adds to it all.

Very impressed. I had to pick a garage in an emergency situation as I had broken down on the M11. I felt , as a woman I was vulnerable  to being ripped off, to parts being replaced that didn’t need to be and to ending up with a huge bill. Nothing could be further from the truth. Well done guys. Had my car in for a timing chain on the troublesome mk5 golf 1.4 tsi , a lot of companies didn’t even want to do the job but these expert mechanics took it in no problem, unfortunately the car needed more than just the chain when I dropped it in and had an underlying broken wire problem that I didn’t know of  from the ecu to god knows where ( nightmare)  , many companies would hand u back your car and say this wasn’t the job we signed up for but b and s stood up and informed me all the way and fixed my car 100% , couldn’t recommend this company high enough they spent many many hours trying to find my wiring problem and charged me very fairly ,highly recommended these guys

In my opinion this company is Absolute horrendous to deal with , we had an awful experience with them, lie after lie, wouldn’t recommend them

I had a really great experience with Best Car Deal and wanted to share it. I originally went to look at three different cars they had in stock and instead of pushing me toward the most expensive option, Barry genuinely took the time to understand what I needed and guided me toward the car that suited me best.

The whole process was extremely transparent from start to finish. They explained everything about the car in detail, including what had been repaired. On top of that, they emailed me all the documentation so I had everything for my own records, which gave me a lot of confidence in the purchase.

A big Thank You to Cormac Gaffey for his patience in dealing with first time buyers of a hybrid vehicle.  In our hunt for a new car, we had visited multiple car dealerships before we arrived at Bright Bray.  Cormac’s approach was much more in tune with our way of doing business - guiding us through the options at our own pace, no pushing, no hustling, just pure professionalism all the way along.   Importantly, we felt through the multiple visits that we made to Bright, that we were being assisted in buying a car, rather than being sold a car.  A superb and accomplished representative, easy and charming to deal with.

Absolutely shocking service provided by these jokers.
We ordered a brand new Ford Kuga, arranged for delivery in January but between all the lies, we didn’t get it until July.
Have been back for several recalls and services.
The technicians are next to useless.
Couldn’t even put windscreen wipers on the correct way.
Car stinks from unwashed bodies on return.
I will never buy another car of these again.

I viewed and test drove a car priced at €14,500, agreed a trade-in of €800 for my own car, and negotiated a final total of €12,500 with Neil. We shook hands on this deal. I secured a loan, arranged insurance transfer for the date & time we had organised for collection and arrived with a bank draft only to be told the price was suddenly back up to €14,500.

Neil claimed he "didn’t remember" our agreement, despite multiple phone calls that week confirming details. He never contacted me to inform me of any price change, despite having all my contact details [mobile/ email/ address].

When I asked to speak to the owner, Des, he left me waiting for nearly an hour. When he did eventually speak with me, he backed Neil without question. I even witnessed Neil pull Des aside for a private conversation before that meeting.

I now have a loan and no car, paid to swap insurance twice, had to return to the bank to cancel a draft, and to top it all off when refunding my deposit, Neil accidentally charged me an extra €500, leaving me waiting again to get my own money back.

This experience was stressful, financially damaging, and completely avoidable. If this is how Bright Citroën Bray under Neil Meade [salesman] and Des Fitzpatrick [branch owner] conducts business, I would strongly advise others to take their custom elsewhere.

Shocking lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. A handshake & verbal agreement should mean something. Clearly, it doesn't here.

Your response is not only inaccurate, it’s insulting. The €12,500 deal, including my €800 trade-in, was clearly agreed & shook upon. I rearranged my finances, secured a loan, paid for insurance changes, and showed up with a bank draft, only to be met with denial & deflection.
Neil had ample opportunity to be honest. Instead, I was blindsided. This wasn’t a “misunderstanding”. It was a bait-and-switch, a deliberate U-turn, handled with zero integrity or respect for my time & money.
The lack of accountability and basic professionalism here is astounding.
