Buying a Vehicle

Had a recent trip to France and headed down to Rosslare for the ferry in torrential rain.  Bike conked out about 50miles from the port, which was not expected for a bike with only 1000miles on it.  Rang Phillip and he pulled out stops to get me back on the road ASAP even though I was nearly 200miles away.  He rang ahead to KTM in Dublin and they had the bike as a priority for next day.  Phillip checked in with me several times and kept me updated, which was appreciated.
Turned out it was a faulty battery, as it wouldn't charge over 5v.  This was replaced by the Dublin dealer who told me they were told just to do what it takes and invoice Belfast.
We ended up getting the next available ferry 2 days later, with no bike issues in France

Great day training getting the CBT alot of mixed feelings going into this but the trainer made it an enjoyable day and it flew in 5 stars for a great service will be seeing you again soon thakyou.

Was the first time to visit this shop. Place was well layed out and the guys couldn't have been more helpful. I  can see why they have won Kawasaki dealer of the year. Good spin up to them from Dublin, but will be back.

I recently purchased a KTM Adventure 790 from Phillip McCallen, and I had the pleasure of dealing with Jason. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient throughout the entire process. I highly recommend asking for Jason if you're in the market for a bike!

I'm ex-trade, ultimately having owned my own business. I'm well out of it now but still ride. I rang up this shower for some oil and a filter for my Suzuki (not really knowing who did what, and where in the area). They told me that the only dealer in NI was in Ballymena. I have since discovered that there's a dealer down the road in Magheralin who stock Suzuki consumables. They could easily have told me this but instead provided disinformation. They did this presumably, to deprive another local dealer of the business and I became the victim of their misjudged business strategy.

I'm old school and my loyalty was to my customers so, if someone enquired about a competing brand, I would direct them to that outlet. In this way, we would have, at least, generated goodwill that hopefully, would pay off in future.

As things stands now, I have a sour taste in my mouth and will avoid McCallen's business whenever possible. This is how life works folks! They have to understand human nature.
