This is the second time I've purchased a new car from Adams of Tralee. I returned there because of the excellent service from all the staff. One example being a while back when waiting for my car to be serviced. Several times members of staff asked if I was okay and if I needed any refreshments. Liam has always been very helpful and on this occasion again collected me and dropped me back to garage that was putting in my accelerator and brake adaptions. I've also got a very good service package. They also have very competitive prices. I would highly recommend Adams of Tralee.

Situated on a 5 acre site on the Tralee Road, new state-of-the-art premises house the newly acquired BMW brand, Opel, Opel Commercials and Mitsubishi Commercials.

Was here for a CVRT test  on a van. Was really impressed with the way the lady on the reception desk went above and beyond to not only facilitate me when I arrived too early ( my mistake), but also the elderly gentleman who booked an NCT in error when his jeep was actually meant to have a DOE test. She went as far as to make sure he had a cup of tea and something to eat after being there for hours. That kind of compassion and kindness is rare these days. All I can say is well done. The world needs more people like this.

After weeks of delays in another place and ultimately breaking down again, I decided to try Aherns. They investigated the issue the next working day and called me with a few options on how to rectify the matter.
The car was sorted the following day.
I found their quick turnaround of the job and communication excellent.

I had a brilliant experience with the staff at Aherns, notably Rory and Brendan, when I bought my BYD Dolphin recently. I found them honest, respectful and so helpful. Great to discover that this e-car can take an e-bike rack too.

Used to get my 7 series serviced here but never again. Have never experienced the level of ignorant obnoxious arrogance anywhere that I experienced repeatedly with 1 person in particular in their BMW customer service department last summer.

Even when I tried to deal with others there on other maintenence or repair issues afterwards to avoid him because of his attitude I kept getting handed back to this person.

I'd rather the steering wheel come off in my hands or travel the 2hrs to Cork from Tralee to a main dealer than ever again return.

As an example: "Go ask John because he was dealing with it, not us". I.e., get lost and don't be annoying me over the thing we promised to phone you back on 3 times (while John no longer even worked in the BMW section as I was ordered off to find him in BYD and "ask him yourself").

My 530e brakes got spongy following brakes fluid change in aherns .went back to them they did diagnostic leak nothing found had to go that day ,went back again took whole day as they said bled multiple times and diagnostic tests couldn't found anything. In the end came up with the master cylinder change recommendation of which they still unsure would it fix problem

Thought the genuine parts would be prohibitively expensive but in fairness they were patient over the last few days as i got my list together and gave a quote for all the parts then together. A special thank you to Sean and Ken for their efforts in addressing issues with my Kia Sportage. I purchased the car in June, and it unexpectedly failed its first NCT with us due to corrosion and suspension issues, which was concerning as we were assured it was in excellent condition. Initially, communication was difficult, as the person I emailed was on leave, causing some frustration.

Once we connected, the team made significant efforts to resolve the issues. They addressed the NCT failures and provided a loan car, which was greatly appreciated. They are also working on repairing the air conditioning pipe, which has a hole, and fixing a faulty right indicator, though both repairs are still pending as they await parts from Kia. Sean’s excellent customer service stood out—he took the time to explain delays and was engaging and approachable. Ken was incredibly patient, especially as I was quite anxious about the NCT failure, and his support helped put me at ease.

While I’m confident the pending repairs will be completed soon, I believe there’s room for improvement in initial communication responsiveness and ensuring vehicles are thoroughly checked before sale to avoid surprises like an NCT failure. That said, their commitment to making things right and their professionalism make them a dealership I would recommend. Thank you, Sean and Ken, for your ongoing efforts.
