Excellent service. Very professional, honest, and reliable garage. The work was done quickly and to a high standard. Staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly know what they’re doing. Great communication and fair pricing. Highly recommend.

An absolute pleasure to deal with Sean Deinum. Goes above and beyond for customers. First time buying a brand new car, and the professionalism is amazing. Highly recommended!

Bought my car here recently. The service, advice and helpfulness was excellent. Would definitely go back and deal with Jimmy again. He was very courteous, returned phone calls and did everything he said he would do within days. Service with a smile always helps. Thank you Jimmy. 😀

4/5 Stars

A special thank you to Sean and Ken for their efforts in addressing issues with my Kia Sportage. I purchased the car in June, and it unexpectedly failed its first NCT with us due to corrosion and suspension issues, which was concerning as we were assured it was in excellent condition. Initially, communication was difficult, as the person I emailed was on leave, causing some frustration.

Once we connected, the team made significant efforts to resolve the issues. They addressed the NCT failures and provided a loan car, which was greatly appreciated. They are also working on repairing the air conditioning pipe, which has a hole, and fixing a faulty right indicator, though both repairs are still pending as they await parts from Kia. Sean’s excellent customer service stood out—he took the time to explain delays and was engaging and approachable. Ken was incredibly patient, especially as I was quite anxious about the NCT failure, and his support helped put me at ease.

While I’m confident the pending repairs will be completed soon, I believe there’s room for improvement in initial communication responsiveness and ensuring vehicles are thoroughly checked before sale to avoid surprises like an NCT failure. That said, their commitment to making things right and their professionalism make them a dealership I would recommend. Thank you, Sean and Ken, for your ongoing efforts.

Bought a car in January of this year here. Issues arose with the back lights going as soon as I drove out the door. The car was brought down from Clare to Tralee, not a short spin, for something that should’ve really been visually seen by someone checking the car. Leak in the boot as well all sealed up after I brought I back down. That was all well and good until I had to keep calling over small silly issues with the car and I’d have to continue to bring the car down to Kerry. When I was being sold the car I was promised the sun moon and stars as I was apprehensive about it first, should’ve trusted my gut.I was also told the break pads were all changed and nothing wrong with them when I brought up that the breaks were not right, I’ve had to pay out to have break pads changed and another ball joint on the left side as they were literally on their last legs. Another lie from these lovely folk. Failed its first NCT due to a ball joint which look, I know can happen. They refused to pay for the retest and I only had the car a few months. I know the bits I needed done were honoured and that’s grand but they seemed to lack care for the car, possibly because it was second hand. Mechanics handled it poorly scratched it and damaged the back cover for the light which I asked to be fixed and there is still a gap on the right side where the lamp is so water can get in, they put in measly clips because they couldn’t be bothered to fix the whole thing. All in all, I think the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. My experience here was a disgrace and being totally honest, I would avoid. Silly things that should’ve been sorted and I should’ve been looked after and listened to. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman and its a heavily male dominated Dealers who knows. I won’t be recommending these to anyone. I was entitled to my car being in top shape regardless of being used, year etc. Not impressed by any means. Anyways if you want a brand new car out of the packet go for it, but don’t expect any empathy if anything goes wrong.

If anyone wants to see the state of the new break pads and a ball joint I had to replace they told me were safe and new in the car look below.

This was my first experience dealing with the team in McElligott's Tralee, having recently purchased a new EV6 from them and the experience throughout was exceptional.

I had been shopping around for my next car for a number of months, having visited and received quotes from several dealerships. McElligott's Tralee stood out for its straightforward sales process, honest guidance and competitive trade-in valuation, making the overall package more compelling.

Special mention to John Riordan, who handled everything professionally and efficiently and took time to offer guidance and answer any questions I had. Nothing was ever an issue. I would highly recommend McElligott's Tralee based on the great value offered, excellent customer service, and a customer-focused experience.

I brought my wife’s Mercedes in for a service and while I was waiting I bought an EV6 from Martin. I had no intention of changing my 23 EV6. An excellent salesman no pressure whatsoever. Mercedes service man Brian very pleasant offered a lift into town etc.

Very happy with the service I got from them all the way very happy with the car will recommend them to all my friends and family

I recently purchased a car from this dealership and had a great experience from start to finish. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free.

Martin Mullane is the man I was dealing with—he was very easy to deal with, polite, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly.

I’m absolutely delighted with my purchase and really appreciate the excellent customer service. Thanks a million, Martin!

I recently visited McElligott’s Tralee for a gearbox oil change on my Honda Fit. The service was professional and efficient, and the staff explained everything clearly, including the importance of using the correct Honda gearbox oil.
The car feels much smoother now, especially while shifting gears. Overall, a very good experience and great attention to detail.
Would recommend for anyone needing reliable Honda servicing.
