The Adams name has been synonymous and traditionally associated with transport over the past 70 years. This association was started by Michael Adams (Sean Adams’ father) and his brother, Jack in the 1930’s. The Adams family ran a daily bus service from Tarbert to Limerick and had the largest postal delivery service during this time, right up until the 70’s when the structure of the postal service changed.

The Garage business also started in the 30’s, in a time when there was no electricity, when the petrol and the air for the tyres had to be pumped by hand. Sean Adams built his first garage in the 60’s for a cost of £1760 and along with repairs Sean started to sell cars. It was in 1969 when he acquired the Peugeot Franchise and in 2019 we will celebrate 50 years with Peugeot making Adams of Glin the longest serving Peugeot Dealer in Ireland. It will also mark a celebration of over 75 years involved in the servicing and selling of motor vehicles making Adams of Glin one of the longest serving motor dealers in Limerick and Kerry.

In 2002 we undertook a major redevelopment of our site which involved the demolition of our old premises and the construction of a new shop, forecourt, 8 bay workshop, parts departments and an 11 car showroom. Therefore, we look forward to the future with confidence, but also realise that this could not have been possible without you, our customers, and the support that Adams of Glin has received for the last 75 plus years.

So, when you are looking to change or service your car in the future why not give us a call and see what we can offer? It costs nothing to look and hopefully you will not be disappointed with what we have to offer.

It's my secon car with Adams of Glin in a row. They take a great care to sell me a good car. Even if I have questions and needs beyond specification, the team tries to accommodate it. John is my point of contact and I know when I rest my case with him, it will be done.
The mechanics team is very efficient.
Everyone there makes you feel welcome.

Shane and his team are great to deal with. Brought a 3008 from them last year, fast delivery, on time.If your looking for Peugeot there is no other place I can recommend in west of Ireland.Best of luck...

Great team, everyone I speak with are a pleasure to deal with, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and make the whole process smooth and enjoyable from buying my first car over 15 years ago to every time I get a service.

Shane and the team are a pleasure to deal with, very professional with fantastic customer service. Have bought cars and had them serviced here for over 10 years and would highly recommend.

Purchased a Peugeot 208 -2019 in October ‘21. Temperature sensor on the display was displaying minus 15 and air con not working. Back to Glin to fix it, after an hour I get the car back but when I got home I noticed sensor still not working.

Organised another trip out from Listowel to fix it a couple of days later, 2 hours off work and waiting in the garage, no toilets at the time due to on going works ....when I drove home afterwards and noticed once again the temperature sensor still not working. Garage refuse to take my calls.

Edit. A month later the 7th Dec 21, I had to contact them again since I never heard from them. So this time they gave me a car to use while holding on to mine, over a week so far. Was told waiting for “another” part!!! The temporary car has no cruise control so very difficult for me to use on long journeys and seriously dirty.

I went to use the car the garage gave me on Tuesday to get coal and the battery flat. I had to ring the garage to get someone out to boost it. Then i had to leave it run for an hour. I finally heard from the garage Wednesday to say my own car is ready to collect, over a week and a half later. So far so good..... the car should have been checked prior to selling. Experience Very inconvenience...
