Firstly the car. Beyond my expectations. Great looking design both inside out out. Packed with great features and advanced driver aids. Very responsive without sacrificing the ride quality. Excellent range with rapid charging. It was a big decision to go fully electric but I think it would be a bigger and harder one to go back to diesel or petrol.  The team at Cupra made it easy, Luke Carly and Stephen all played a part. The trade in value was not as I hoped but this is the same everywhere.

I bought my Cupra Formentor a year ago for €52,500. After just one year, I asked about trading it in for the new Terramar, and they valued my car at only €32,000 — meaning it lost €20,000 in value in just twelve months. My car is in excellent condition, yet they told me this is simply the current market price.

So, for anyone considering buying a Cupra, keep in mind that it may lose more than 40% of its value within the first year.
