We are proud to be a family run business, incorporated by the late Finbarr Galvin back in 1975 and now spearheaded by his son Justin Galvin. Over the past 4 decades we have developed a reputation as being one of the best dealerships in the country and we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and after sales to our loyal and growing customer base.

Having joined the VW Group in 2010, our business has grown from strength to strength and we are now one of the top ŠKODA and SEAT Dealerships in Ireland. Visit us in our 12,000 square feet showrooms on the Clonakilty Rd in Bandon where we house our ŠKODA and SEAT Brands or in our Used Car Centre in Victoria Cross, Cork City where we stock an abundance of quality used vehicles. We have an Used Cars on offer to suit every budget at both of our sites.

Finbarr Galvin Ltd have been proudly serving the people of Cork and Bandon for over 40 years.

I recently bought a car here. I was dealing with John Madden and Aoife and the experience was brilliant from start to finish. I had a million silly questions and John didn't make me feel one bit dismissed, in fact he gave me really strong direction. I also rang the showroom several times and Aoife was the same, always ready to support and help. I didn't feel pushed, I felt informed - I haven't always had that experience when buying a car. I will absolutely be recommending Finbarr Galvin to anyone looking to buy a car. I felt the end to end experience of purchasing a car here was brilliant. I love the car and I feel like I have made a strong and informed decision.

Car serviced to a very high standard. From the time I booked the service to any dealings with staff found them all to be extremely professional and helpful. Have to mention Christina in the service dept. So helpful, engaging and knowledgeable and every request dealt with promptly and efficiently. Thanks to all at Galvins

Had a great experience today getting an issue with my car sorted. Grace was incredibly professional and communicative at the service desk. Thank you very much

Not a great experience unfortunately. John is probably the worst sales person i have met. He started off by telling me how bad the car was. I appreciate his honesty but I have no idea how he ever gets a sale. He didn’t really know what he was talking about or how to go about showing a car to someone. He first didn't even show me the car i was enquiring about. He showed me a different car and I had to ask to see the car i was enquiring about.
Anyhow, I couldn't recommend the place and I will buy my new car elsewhere.

Very disappointing experience with this garage.

After getting in contact with the Skoda Branch Manager about a 222 Kodiaq. We were told the car was mint, paintwork and alloys. and to make a long story short,

- It was a 7hr round trip for us and they couldn't meet us a bit of the way to break up our journey. We were told they were under staffed. (We bought two previous cars in the south, off Cogans in Carrigaline and John Kennedys in Tipperary and were met in Bunratty where we were brought in for tea and soup)

-When asked about a tank of diesel in a €50k transaction because of the fact they couldn't meet us, we were told that company policy is no more than €20 worth of fuel with any vehicle.

- Hesitantly paid a deposit before arrival because it was a hard spec to find and partner was so excited. When my partner who is 8 months pregnant arrived with her elderly father, they were left waiting for 20mins without anyone having the courtesy to even say I will be with you in a minute. Finally when she was practically thrown the keys they seen the alloys were all marked along with a lot light scrapes on the paintwork. When this was brought up with the salesman, his response was "what did you expect its a year old".

She left in tears and left the car behind her thank god. I emailed the Skoda Manager telling him how annoyed I was with the treatment we received but especially my partner, to which I didn't even get a response. But everything happens for a reason and have just purchased our Kodiaq from an actual salesman in Annesley Williams in Dublin where Paddy couldn't have been nicer.
