Gilmores Kingscourt are a long established garage situated in North-East Ireland, approximately 50 miles from Dublin city centre, and are only 50 minutes from Dublin Airport via M1 motorway and 30 mins from Dundalk and Drogheda.

It is a family owned and run dealership, founded in 1964. Gilmores have been Mercedes-Benz dealers since 1981. We are the only dealership in Ireland to hold the franchise for Passenger Cars, Light Commercials and for Heavy Commercials.

I recently purchased a Mercedes E220d from Gilmores and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience.

From my very first enquiry, Paul was an absolute gentleman to deal with. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and never once made me feel under pressure. Buying a car is a significant investment and Paul made the entire process straightforward, stress-free and genuinely enjoyable.

The level of customer service was exceptional throughout. Every question was answered promptly, communication was excellent and everything that was promised was delivered. Even after collection, the aftersales support has been first class, with the team going above and beyond to ensure that any minor issues were addressed properly.

It’s easy to see why Gilmores have such a strong reputation. They combine professionalism with a genuinely personal approach that is becoming increasingly rare.

A special thank you to Paul for making the purchase of what is a very special car for me such a positive experience. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gilmores to anyone considering a Mercedes-Benz.

Five stars all round.

I get my car from Gilmores Kingscourt.
The service was highly professional and friendly. All went as promised and perfect.
Special thanks for Paul who was smiling, professional and delivered all our wish we ask withouth delays.

Thanks Paul.
Hope to see you in the future again!

Professional and friendly service here from the first phone call to the delivery of my Mercedes benz. Wayne was very friendly and informative and a pleasure to deal with . I highly recommend Gilmores for a stress free car sale. Thanks to all at Gilmores.

I bought a 222 Vito from Gilmores in oct 23 for €40k. In Aug 24 I bought a GLE for €70k.
The add blue sensor went in the vito about 3 months ago. It was on the count down to not being able to start so I called them to get it booked in. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment to put it on the computer, that’s fine everyone is busy. I then waited 5 weeks for the work to be done. The day after I got it done the fault came on again. So I dropped it back down so they could look at it at there request. They had it for over a week I called 3 times during the week to be told someone would come back to meto let me know what they had found.
Eventually they rang and said they can’t find the fault and the message is gone. I got the van back and following day the fault was on again.
It’s now 9 days since I made contact with them regarding this, I’ve called 4 times and still no one has called me back. I paid €1k to get this fixed
Plus all the times 2 people and 2 vehicles have had to drive to them to drop off and collect the van and they don’t even bother to call you back. It’s a joke I would not recommend anyone to give them there hard earned money for this level of service.

Went out of our way to check out the new BYD Seal U Comfort. Got talking to Owen who to be honest, I would highly recommend to avoid! I told him I had a brand new Peugeot 5008 251 reg I wanted to trade in for the car (knowing mine is worth more than the BYD since 7 seater etc), he instantly was like oh no we wouldn't take that! I was thrown off with that remark? Eventually after a bit of back and forth and even after test drive, we wanted to move ahead and buy! Owen implied they usually don't handle those types of trades and asked me to look for a buyer and these being a dealer of Mercedes and BYD? After persuading he does his job and look himself like any other normal dealer, he said he would handle that. 1 week later, no follow up calls, no reaching out, no nothing! I was left managing this myself as if I was the sales person! Literally just off the phone there and he said he has no figures yet for my trade in because it's so fresh. Being honest? It sounded like he just did not want to deal with me because I had a new car to trade in! He lost out on a sale here which should have been a very easy one at that! Ridiculous all together and would not recommend this place because of that. Get anyone else BUT Owen!
