Great people and great car! I bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage in 2024 as a first time buyer, and the car is still running perfectly. Last week, they helped me fix a scratch for free.

Went in when my gearbox was going in my very old civic. Asked the manager if they'd sell me a quick run around with a bit of NCT and was sold a fantastic car at a very fair price.

Just bought a sparkling little VW Polo from Gary at Great Island Motors. Like new. He made a real occasion of it as my kid's first car (me in the shot!). Great value, service and so mannerly and informative. Visited a couple of times, drove several cars, and never felt pressured. I bought one of my first cars from his father! They are awesome to work with! Picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise pier. Switched car from manual to automatic to help improve the driving experience at no extra charge. Provided us with a map and a car with Apple Play as requested. I cannot recommend high enough.  Rented in June 2025.

Yesterday, I thought I'd get my petrol at GIM as I was passing, was driving to Dublin, and the pricing said 169.9 per litre, see photo.  I filled up, got a receipt, and realised I'd been charged 177.9 per litre. see photo, 8 cent more than advertised.  This is illegal. Yes, I should have read the screen before I started filling up, but I thought I knew the price, why would I need to check on the pump screen.  If I'd know it was 177.9 per litre, I wouldn't have stopped.  Cheats, criminals.
Why is zero stars not an option?  I don't want to reward this type of behaviour by even giving them ONE star.
