Bought a van from John last year, absolute gentleman. Pleasure to deal with, very honest and happy to help. He promised to forward a spare key when he received it from the previous owners. I bought a Mitsubishi ASX off John last year. The engine blew within the year and I reached out for help on it as there was a warning sign for the engine on it when I bought it but he assured me it was just a fault and to ignore it. Turns out the engine was illegally modified (DPF) to perform better (reason the engine blew). Either the team did the checks and John knowingly and illegally sold me an illegally modified car or there was no checks done on the car and sold me a car that nearly killed me, my partner and our dog on the motorway. I have contacted JOHN himself numerous times which he has seen on WhatsApp and never bothered to reply.
