Established since 1947 Meehans Ltd offers you the peace of mind and service that comes with over 60 years of experience. In 1980 we were awarded the Toyota franchise. Since then we have grown to become main Toyota dealership in the North East

10/10 recommendation for Meehans, John Cosgrove was exceptionally impressive with his customer service skills and additional help, even outside of work hours, couldn’t fault the process and we will certainly return for business in the future

Best Dealer in Louth.
John in the garage put me at ease and made sure i picked the car that was suitable for me and everything from the paperwork to showing everything about the car was brilliant. Highly recommend Meehan's for anyone looking at trading or buying a new car for 2026. Pity they only give 5 stars on google as i would be giving them 20 stars for their professionalism and service.

Very disappointing experience with Meehans Garage.

I tried to book a service appointment through the website for a recall, but never received any response. I then called the service department, and when I mentioned that I was calling to schedule a recall service, the staff member hung up on me. After that, my calls were no longer answered.

This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating, especially when it relates to an important safety recall.

Is this really the level of service expected from a Toyota dealership?

I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed.

We chose this service centre specifically because it presents itself as an official Toyota dealership, that was the whole point. We trusted the name and expected the standards that come with it. Instead, we got the opposite, our explicit request for genuine OEM parts was ignored, non-original parts were installed, and the quality of work was poor. This is not what an authorised Toyota centre should look like.

This place feels like an unqualified garage rather than an official Toyota service. Avoid. We’ve had multiple terrible experiences with Meehan's, who supposed to be 'the official Toyota representative'. The first time, they broke our glove box and we had to return for repairs. The second time, they replaced our windscreen and lost our VIN number, then blamed us, saying we didn't have it when we proved we had, they did nothing to fix the issue. Completely unprofessional, lazy, and careless. They damage Toyota’s reputation, and we’ll be reporting this to consumer protection authorities.
