Michael Moore Car Sales employs a staff of 30 and we have been established in 1972.
Professional Team: Our sales team comprises of Michael Moore, sons Brendan Moore and Robert Moore and Frank Fitzpatrick, while Ken Furlong is our financial consultant.

Other key company members are Accountant Fergus Byrne, our Administration Staff Catherine Moore, and Serena Brennan. 

Our Service Manager is Paul Joslin, Service Advisor is Brendan Donnelly and Liam O'Brien is our Workshop Controller. Damien Kennedy looks after our Warranty Department.

Our state of the art workshop contains 8 technicians and 2 in our Bodyshop.A team of 4 work in our valeting bay.

Our parts consists of Parts Manager Samuel Justin and Parts Advisors Vernon Fanning.

I recently had my car serviced with them, and was satisfied with the experience. The staff were courteous, and knowledgeable, especially Liam who took his time to clearly explain the different aspects of free car health check. Everything was handled efficiently, and the service was completed within the promised timeframe.

Great experience with Michael Moore Portarlington. I had an ongoing issue with my Mercedes that had previously been misdiagnosed elsewhere, leading to unnecessary work and the problem still not being resolved. Michael Moore quickly identified the real cause, explained everything clearly, and handled the repair properly from the start.

They diagnosed the fault efficiently, kept me updated throughout, and got everything sorted without delay. The issue was fixed correctly and at a fair cost, which was a huge relief after my previous experience.

Call service on Tuesday to see about getting brake pads replaced, Liam looked up my service history and reminded me my discs were also due for replacement soon. He got to work to get necessary parts and called me the next day as promised to arrange getting the job done (once parts were available) on Thursday. Everything went to plan and had me out in 2 hours as promised. GREAT SERVICE.

I was overall very pleased with my recent car service No issues with booking , very pleasant reception staff and all completed satisfactory and promptly. Given lovely courtesy car . Kept informed all the way by regular texts. No issues and would have no problem with rebooking next service

Extremely disappointing experience.
I was charged €300 for a “diagnostic report” that I never actually received. Instead, they only added a short and incomplete recommendation on the invoice, which did not explain anything properly. When I tried to ask for clarification, the staff were rude and unprofessional, even yelling over the phone.

I have never experienced such poor customer service — no transparency, no respect, and no accountability. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this garage. There are plenty of honest, professional mechanics elsewhere who treat customers properly
