Frank Keane first became interested in cars through a teenage fascination with motor racing which resulted in the beginning of a lifelong passion. In 1967, Frank Keane was awarded the franchise for BMW and managed with great success to convey the essential BMW message to the Irish public, establishing, promoting and enhancing the brand and reputation of the marque. In 2017 Frank Keane celebrated its 50th anniversary in business.

This experience and professionalism has continued with the opening of Frank Keane. Frank Keane Naas Road is a premium BMW Retail Centre in South Dublin located off Exit 9 from the M50 on the Naas Road.

The service I received from Conor Jenkins was truly exceptional.

From the moment I made an enquiry about a BMW, Conor contacted me almost immediately. He followed up via WhatsApp with additional details and even sent me a video tour of the car’s interior, which was a fantastic personal touch.

When I met Conor at the showroom on the Naas Road, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuine. He had answers to every question I asked and left no detail overlooked. I can genuinely say that in all my years of buying cars, I have never experienced this level of customer service.

A special mention also has to go to Gaby, the wonderful product specialist who helped me get everything set up, including Apple CarPlay. She was incredibly patient, friendly, and made sure I was completely comfortable with everything before I left.

The entire experience was 10 out of 10 from start to finish. Conor and Gaby have completely changed my expectations of what buying a car should be like. I honestly can't see myself going to another dealership in the future.

I would highly recommend Conor, Gaby and the entire team, you simply won’t go wrong!

An exceptional experience from start to finish.

During my recent visit to BMW in Naas, I was truly impressed by the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine customer care demonstrated by the entire team. From the moment I arrived, everything reflected the premium standards that define the BMW brand.

The staff were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of the experience was handled with precision, efficiency, and courtesy. What stood out most was their commitment to making the customer feel valued and respected throughout the entire process.

It is increasingly rare to encounter such a refined level of service, where expertise, integrity, and hospitality come together so seamlessly. The team in Naas clearly takes great pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction.

For anyone who appreciates professionalism, excellence, and a truly first-class automotive experience, BMW Naas sets a remarkable standard. My sincere thanks to the entire team for delivering such an outstanding and memorable experience.

I recently had service work completed on my BMW 5 Series in Frank Keane BMW Naas Road and was extremely impressed with the experience from start to finish.

The entire process, which took a number of weeks due to the nature of the repair, was handled professionally, efficiently and with great attention to customer service. A special thank you to Hannah in the service department, who kept me informed throughout every stage of the work. Her communication was excellent, providing regular updates and ensuring I always knew the status of my vehicle. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with.

I would highly recommend Frank Keane Naas Road for anyone’s BMW needs. Thank you to Hannah and the entire team for making the process so smooth and stress-free.

Dear [Company Frank Keane / Manager],

If it were possible to rate 0.5 stars, I would.

My experience with the customer-facing service over the past week has been very poor, with no support available by phone. I have tried all options on your menu - 1 for Service and 2 for Sales & Parts - to order a part, and it has been impossible to reach a human representative. Today the same issue persists; I am again unable to speak with anyone.

This level of access is not what I would expect from a professional motor vehicle dealership.

I have two questions:
1. Are unanswered calls logged by your phone system, or are they deleted without review?
2. Is it possible for your company to identify who has called and who is due a callback?

When I finally did get through, I was met with an unprofessional response. I was told, “we’re all busy - I’m only covering reception.” If answering calls and taking details for callbacks is not part of the role, then I would suggest the company assigns this task to someone who can do it properly. See one 18 minute call! Others add up to significantly more time spent in trying to get a human interaction!

I hope this feedback helps you review your call-handling process, as it is letting down what I assume is otherwise a great well aged motor vehicle company!

Service area from start to finish is an absolute disgrace. From time of booking an appointment ti car collection, service is the worat I’ve come across. The girls on phone never call back. I always have to chase. In addition, you get to the service reception desk and everyone has their heads down, looking at a screen. They never look up to assist. We’re actually considering changing car to avoid this level of awful service.

Frank Keane has brought BMW back to Blackrock! Its the same familiar location on Temple Road, Blackrock, but with a difference. Thats because Frank Keane is BMW since 1967 so we bring a wealth of experience and knowledge across BMW sales, service, parts and finance back to the area. So come and visit us at Frank Keane Blackrock.

I received fantastic service from Sean who went above and beyond to assist me with a puncture. My car was stranded up the street from the dealership and he didn’t hesitate to offer to walk up to my car to help me out. Such amazing service and a really friendly and helpful guy. Frank Keane’s are lucky to have such a tremendous team member. Thanks again Sean!

I visited Frank Keane BMW last Friday for a service, and I had a really great experience.

The whole team was very professional, helpful, and welcoming. The service was excellent, and everything was handled smoothly. Even though it was close to closing time, Richard from Sales still took the time to answer many of my questions patiently, which I really appreciated.

Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly, and they even have a lovely little Chihuahua in the showroom🥰

I’m very happy with the experience and will definitely come back here for my future services and cars.

From the first phone call to receiving our new keys, Frank Keane were a pleasure to deal with and constantly going above and beyond to keep us informed and sort us out with the best deal! I’ve been with many other dealers but Frank Keane Blackrock and especially Kevin stood out by far the best to work with and we’ll be back again for sure! Many thanks all, Gillian

Very disappointed with our experience. We bought a car two weeks ago. Within the first 2 days of driving it, we noticed there was a very loud metal clanking sound underneath the car especially when turing the wheels. We contacted the garage straight away and intended to drive the car back to them from Galway to fix the issue. We were told to contact their sister garage in Limerick instead as closer to us. After 10 days of waiting for their busy schedule, we brought the car to Limerick for an inspection. During these 10 days of waiting, we didnt dare to drive the car with fear of safety issues. On the day of inspection in Limerick, it was noted the wishbone of the car needs to be repaired. However we will need to wait for another 3 weeks for the part to be ordered. So we drove the car back home and need to bring the car back to Limerick again in 3 weeks time, leave the car there for a day and drive back again to collect it the day after. So that's 3 trips in total from Galway to Limerick within the first month after buying the car. The wishbone inspection should have been a part of full service before sale. When we contacted the garage and looking for the car service report even just for future reference. The garage said they would email to us which we havent received since last week. On top of that, the car was supplied without a charging cable when handed over. When we contacted the garage notifying the issue. They said they would post to us straight away and we would receive it in a day or 2. 2 weeks gone now and still no sign of the cable to be delivered.
Spending this amount of money on a 2 years old BMW should not have come with these kinds of issues immediately after purchase. The after-sales support and preparation of the vehicle have been poor. So right now we have a new car in the driveway waiting for the part to be ordered and fixed in 3 weeks and with no charging cable. The staff in both garages have been really helpful but still it doesn't change the fact that we are not able use the car as intended for daily purpose. Very disappointed indeed.

When I think of bad customer service - this place takes the cake. Consistently terrible customer service, no value for your time. Car returned with jobs unfinished / parts not ordered etc requiring you to return again and wait all day for small jobs. Multiple times I have been given quotes and when car is picked up hundreds have been added “in error”. Worth driving further for better service and care. Assured pickup times only to arrive and have to wait hours longer. Could go on

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently purchased my third BMW from the BMW dealership in Charlestown, and once again the experience was outstanding.

A huge thank you to Carrie and Amanda for their exceptional service. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about finding the right car for their customers. They made the whole process smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable from start to finish.

This is the third time I’ve bought a car here, and the consistently excellent customer service is the reason I keep coming back. I highly recommend BMW Charlestown, especially Carrie and Amanda. Thank you both—I look forward to seeing you again when it’s time for my next BMW!

I attended Joe Duffy BMW recently with an issue with the petrol flap on my 330e not closing. I was looked after by Alyssa and couldn’t be happier with the service provided. I dropped the car at the garage in the morning and received a phone call at lunch time to let me know what was needed. I then collected the car that evening with the issue fully repaired along with receiving a complementary car wash and valet. I then received a call from Alyssa later that week to make sure everything was ok with the car. I have attended other garages with issues before but none have come close to providing this level of service and attention to detail. The cost of repair was also very reasonable. I will certainly return to Joe Duffy BMW for all services and future car purchases after this.

I visited for a BMW recall service and had a great
experience. The staff were very friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.The service was completed efficiently, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend
this location for anyone needing BMW service!

I left my car in for a recall issue which I was assured was successfully fixed. Also included was a "free" vehicle health check. I explained that there had been issues with sensor fault messages displaying and that the garage where I bought the car told me that the sensors were not faulty. That garage removed the flashing message to ensure safety whilst driving. I have been driving my car for the past year without any issues. Now however I have messages flashing when I drive my car which are distracting and concerning from a safety aspect. Joe Duffy have refused to clear the message unless I investigate the so called issue. This feels coercive as I have elected to drive the car without sensors - cameras in situ do a better less obtrusive job. In order to "further investigate" an issue it would cost €140 per hour and thousands to replace the sensor control panel. So Joe Duffy BMW removed my choice, refused to reinstate my car to the way it was when I left it in and have left me feeling unsafe whilst driving. Needless to say, I was I won't re-visit Joe Duffy BMW and hope I don't have an accident because of them.

Dear Sir or Madam.
I would like to share my experience with BMW Group Ireland and the Joe Duffy Finglas service center. I am the owner of a 23 BMW 530e 1.5-year-old with only 15,000 km on the clock, which is still under warranty. Unfortunately, I have already encountered significant issues

The main problems I reported are the spontaneous opening of the trunk and damage to the driver's seat at the seams connecting the leather stitching.

Upon reporting these issues, a Joe Duffy employee immediately informed me that the seat damage is not covered by the warranty, claiming it is not a manufacturing defect.

Consequently, I contacted BMW Group Ireland directly. After a few days, I received a response stating that it is not a production defect and any potential seat replacement would incur additional charges.

I would like to emphasize that, weighing 81 kg, I have used Mercedes-Benz vehicles for 23 years without similar issues with the seat, which withstood tens of thousands of kilometers. The service provided by Mercedes has always been of the highest standard 🥰⭐️

I urge prospective customers to be aware that after purchasing a vehicle, the service experience may not be as pleasant as during the sales process

Considering the holiday season, I suspect BMW might be right. I recently caught an elf sitting on the driver's seat with a knife in hand, so I hope that perhaps the next morning I will find the seat repaired by other elves 🧝

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope that my experience serves as a cautionary tale 🎅

Sincerely,
Greg

Edit :

Thank you for your response
I would like to clarify that, according to the law, the place of purchase should not affect warranty issues, and as a BMW owner, I have the right to choose my service center. In my case, BMW Group Ireland connected me with your dealership and arranged for my car to be towed to Joe Duffy. The decision that the driver's seat damage is not a manufacturing defect was made at your service center, and I consider it incorrect
The purpose of my comment was to highlight the quality of customer service and the issues I encountered. My actions will not stop here, and I will certainly publicize this matter, as a brand selling premium cars should ensure product quality and customer service

Sincerely,
Greg
