Just bought my first car in Ireland after two years living here. Stephen, the salesman, was very friendly and answered all my questions, I had a lot. They have very good cars with very good prices and they praise transparency. The best!

Purchased this Audi SQ5 BITDI 3.0 V6T back in March from Zucar Drogheda. Initially I seen the car online in the Cork outlet got it transferred to Drogheda which is nearer to where I live. Prior to test drive I got a walk around video and paid €100 for the transfer to Drogheda. Once viewed & test drove in Drogheda, I pulled the trigger and purchased, with the €100 transfer fee taken off overall payment & used as deposit once car is purchased. I dealt with Andrew & Eimear, both very professional and very helpful. Also received a follow up call after 6 months of purchase to see how the car is going.
Love this car which is an unbelievable all rounder.

Today, I visited the Porsche Centre South  with a friend to purchase a birthday gift for my father. He owns a Porsche and is a big fan of Porsche merchandise, so I was looking at some of the items on display.

While browsing, I picked up a hat to take a closer look. A member of staff immediately told me, in a rather abrupt and standoffish manner, that I was not allowed to try it on. I completely understand if this is store policy, but the way it was communicated made me feel uncomfortable. This is not something I have experienced at other Porsche dealerships.

As I continued to browse, the same staff member continued watching me in a way that made me feel unwelcome and as though I was being treated with suspicion. Because of this, I decided to leave.

I had genuinely intended to purchase a thermal cup or a polo shirt, but instead I left empty handed. It was a disappointing experience and not what I expected from a brand that prides itself on delivering a premium customer experience.

Bought a car from them 6 months ago. The car is fine. Before purchasing though the car had minor scratches. The dealer said they would be fixed before they handed it over.

Car arrives and scratches are still there. Dealer tells me they are waiting for the kit which will arrive in a few days and I can drop in to get fixed.

Over a period of two weeks of calling them being told someone will ring back and never does I finally get the truth that the kit is delayed and they knew about it even at the point of handing over the car. The person talking to me also acted as if I was inconveniencing them calling all the time.

So fair enough, issues happen. It would have been better if they were upfront or even called with a status when they say they would. It was quite some time after that they finally tell me the kit is in. At this point I am more active working so I can't get time to go in.

So fast forward to December. As I am using the car for work I've racked up enough distance that I need to get a service. I call them and they say someone will ring me back. I wait until the new year because I reckon everyone is on holiday. I ring again and I'm told someone will ring me back that day.

That was two days ago. Rang another place and got a full service the next day.

So I have no complaints about the car (except scratches), but it to me feels like Zu Cars really don't care after they got your money and don't seem that enthusiastic on repeat business.
