I’ve had my Cupra Tarramar VZ since January (just over three months now) and I honestly couldn’t be happier with both the car and the experience I had with Monaghans dealership in Galway.

From the moment we walked in, the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and never pushy. They took the time to walk us through all the features of the Tarramar, answered every question we had, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. A special thanks to Daire Flanagan, who was excellent throughout — very helpful, patient, and made sure everything was straightforward from start to finish.

The car itself is absolutely stunning — sporty, comfortable, and packed with tech. You can really feel the quality when you drive it. It’s clear they know their cars and genuinely care about matching you with the right one.

Handover day was seamless, and they made sure everything was set up perfectly before we left. It’s rare to get this level of customer service these days.

Highly recommend this dealership to anyone considering a Cupra. Delighted with my purchase!

A Gold Standard Experience from Sales to Finance!

I recently purchased a car here and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the team demonstrated what true customer service looks like.

First, a huge “Thank you!” to Daire who went above and beyond excellence to ensure I found the perfect vehicle. He wasn't just trying to 'sell' me a car; he was focused on finding the right fit for my needs. His knowledge, patience, and genuine care made the process completely stress-free—I never felt pressured, only supported.

Second, dealing to the finance department, and more precisely, with Nicola, was equally impressive and incredibly helpful as she sorted out all my paperwork and took the time to provide clear and informative details about my contract. I walked away feeling confident and fully informed about my investment.

If you're looking for a dealership that values transparency, treats its customers like royalty, offers a stress-free car buying experience and actually cares about their customers, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Daire it's a professional guy given all details of this Cupra Born & car it's amaizing so 328 BHP getting you a lot of fun for driving it"s faster than Golf GTI and cost less. Cupra it's worth for attention as kicking ass for all competitors. Recommend for everyone who want to buy awesome car and don't need to spend millions of moneys.

And special thanks to Aaron for making the entire process smooth ✨

I recently purchased my new Volkswagen Transporter, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Paul, who was an outstanding salesperson throughout the entire process. He was professional, knowledgeable, approachable, and made everything straightforward and stress-free. Paul took the time to answer all my questions and ensured I felt confident and informed every step of the way.

I’d also like to thank Clara in Accounts for her excellent work sorting out all of my documentation and finance arrangements. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally, making the paperwork side of things completely hassle-free.

A special mention goes to Lauren, whose amazing personality and dedication really stood out. She spent time with me when I collected my van, making sure everything was perfect and that I was comfortable with all the features. Her friendly attitude and genuine enthusiasm made collecting my new Transporter a memorable experience.

The whole team provided exceptional customer service, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Thank you all for making the purchase of my new Volkswagen Transporter such an enjoyable experience!

I recently bought my new electric car from Western Motors and dealt with Gabriel throughout. From the very beginning he was genuinely friendly, patient, and easy to deal with. As it was my first EV, I had plenty of questions and he took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. He kept me updated at every stage and made the whole experience smooth and stress free. I’m absolutely delighted with the car and would have no hesitation in recommending Gabriel to anyone considering buying from Western Motors.

I recently dealt with Paul Roche in the purchase of my new e-Transporter. I found Paul to be extremely supportive, resourceful and patient in helping me getting the deal accros the line. I would recommend reaching out to Paul when considering your next purchase.

Purchased a nice VW here, Gabriel was absolutely lovely to deal with it, explained everything about the car's features and service history and answered all of my questions. Thanks as well to Emma at the reception, she was very helpful with sorting a query I had regarding my trade in. Very happy to have went here!

Very dissapointing experience as a returning customer of Western Motors Galway. After several days agreeing a new electric car purchase, finance and trade-in, I was asked to come in with a deposit. I travelled across Galway believing I was finalising the purchase, only to be told on arrival that the grey car i had agreed to buy was no longer available and I was offered a white car instead. I had spoken to the saleperson twice that morning also the lady in the finance department and nobody contacted me beforehand. Sadly, this is the second time we have had a similar experience here. Extremely disappointing customer service, particularly when making such a significant purchase.

IF I WAS TO GIVE AN HONEST RATING, THEY WOULD'NT EVEN GET A 1 STAR RATING

"UPDATE - 19TH OF AUGUST 2026"
I appreciate Western Motors responding publicly to my review. However, the response does not address the main issue.

I fully understand that cars can sell quickly. My issue is that I spoke with the salesperson twice that morning, completed the finance process with clara over the phone and was specifically asked to come into the dealership that afternoon with a deposit, i travelled across Galway believing i was finasling the purchase only to be told when I arrived that the car was no longer available.

'Western Motors' response states that they would appreciate the opportunity to restore my confidence. I therefore sent a detailed formal complaint directed to senior management on the 12th August. As of the 19th August, I have recieved no acknowlegement or response whatssoever!!!

unfortunately, after being a returning customer, the lack of any direct reponse has only added to my dissapountment.
