At Dunleas, we specialise in the following areas; Sales, Service, Parts, Accident and Repair Centre, Hire and Leasing, and Recovery Service.

Couldn't be happier with my experience at Kia Dunlea's. Martin was incredibly helpful throughout the process of getting a new car. Would highly recommend.

Dunlea’s helped us to get a problem fixed under warranty. Special shoutout to Emma for keeping me up to speed on things and getting it over the line. Good experience

UNTRUSTWORTHY-INEFFICIENT-
DISRESPECTFUL
My experience with Dunleas Car Dealership has been deeply disappointing from start to finish. What should have been an exciting car purchase turned into months of frustration, stress, and financial loss.

I collected a car that supposedly went through a “full service,” yet it had a faulty reservoir sensor, low fluid levels, defective rear tyres, and a non-functioning rear indicator. I had flagged the indicator issue on three separate occasions before purchase and was promised it would be fixed before collection — it wasn’t. I had to return later once they finally ordered the part. Issues like these should never have been missed on any basic service, let alone a full inspection.

Two weeks later I reported that the rear tyre kept losing pressure. Their mechanics said “it’s perfect.” I went elsewhere and was told the wire inside the tyre was exposed on both sides and the rear alignment was dangerously off — serious safety faults that Dunleas completely ignored.

They also failed to disclose that the car was a Japanese import, which caused ongoing problems later. I waited 12 weeks for a second key, made countless ignored calls, and even had to travel 30 minutes multiple times to chase them up.

In October, several warning lights came on. I waited three weeks for an appointment and the car was then held for seven weeks, only to be returned with Dunleas claiming they couldn’t find the fault — and refusing to cover any further repair.

I had to file a complaint with the finance company, who launched an investigation. I paid out of pocket for diagnostics and reports that revealed a non-regional (Japanese) media part had been incorrectly fitted, causing severe electrical issues. The repair quote: €4,000–€6,000. The finance company’s report found that I was not liable and described Dunleas as “inefficient,” “unwilling to assist,” and “unreasonable.”

Dunleas have since refused to refund my deposit or trade-in value, leaving me without a car and thousands of euros down. When I tried to meet them in person, I was kept waiting 40 minutes, then met in an open area surrounded by staff, which felt intimidating and disrespectful.

In my experience, Dunleas are untrustworthy, unhelpful, and unwilling to take accountability. Their service quality and customer care are completely unacceptable. Think twice before doing business with them — I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did.

I rang this dealer last year to enquire about buying a new car. I was greeted with a grunt for a start. The man wasn't interested in what I wanted, what I was trying to trade or any part of the conversation. He simply said sure call in if you're passing and have a look at what we have and hung up. Not surprisingly I used a different dealer. I rang yesterday to have the car serviced to be told to go back to where you bought the car, we are too busy, we are not taking new clients ! whatever that means?? I tried to "shop local" as I live 10 minutes away but as a result I would never consider this dealer again. Probably another message for the SPAM box
....

Shocking communication, i had a booking for first thing this morning by text with no time added but was asked on phone to be there early which I was for 10am. When arriving I was told a waiting appointment should be there for 8am which I wasn't told, I waited 90 mins at which time I offered to come back another day but was told the service team knew I was in reception waiting. During this time I watched staff berate customers to each other swearing etc and watched the ceo raging and shouting out in the forecourt. The place is filthy I would never buy another car off them again 50k spent and this is the 2nd error by THEM not me. Do not ask to use their toilet either its an absolute disgrace.

Ray Crofton Motors are a leading approved agent for Kia. We are also approved service agents for Mitsubishi. We stock a wide range of new and used cars and commercial vehicles. We also offer a fully equipped car service centre and parts department.

My first time dealing with Ray Crofton motors and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From my initial enquiry to the final purchase of a new vehicle, the process was, uncomplicated, professional and so efficient. Excellent customer service, would highly recommend.

Was lucky enough that my wife suggested I pay a visit there first as she had already purchased a car there previously and has nothing but good things to say about how the staff are so helpful and courteous. My own dealings, firstly with Michael Corcoran, then Robert the salesman, then James Corcoran endorsed all my wife had said about Ray Crofton Motors in general. Found the car I was looking for and all business was done in a courteous and professional manner. Looking forward to continuing my association with them through further car servicing etc.. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to purchase a vehicle, new or used, to pay a visit to Ray Crofton's first..

This is my third car from Ray Crofton Motors & I can’t speak highly enough of their sales team. Robert in particular is exceptional to deal with, he’s so efficient, courteous & personable. Very accommodating, even when I could only collect the car on a Saturday.

An excellent Brand Ambassador for the dealership & KIA and an all round gentleman.

Delighted with the new car. I highly recommend this dealership. An absolute pleasure.

Straightforward purchase of a great car, the team addressed all requests pre purchase, lent us a car in the meantime, lovely ‘congrats’ gifts when we collected the car. Great experience all round and look forward to carrying out services with you going forward.. thanks again.

We just both our second new car from Robert. We found him approachable and honest in every aspect. He gave a fair trade in price which is a rarity these days. I would highly recommend Crofton Motors to anyone.
