We had an issue with a car in limerick and had the car transferred to Dan Dooley. The service and communication was excellent. Eileen and the team were fantastic, thanks for taking care of our little Fiat.

1st time going. Extremely happy with the online booking, the service and the follow up. The receptionist Eileen is absolutely brilliant. Will most certainly be back.

I had been looking to upgrade my car for a couple of months and ensuring on making a safe purchase. I came to Dan Dooley's and I met with a Sales Executive named Eddie who helped guide me to a car that I'm very pleased with. And with Dan Dooley's after sales service being what it is. I will be definitely recommending this car garage to others.

Recently bought a car from Dan Dooley and had the pleasure of dealing with Eddie. From the very start Eddie was professional and helpful and gave me a great deal. I travelled down from Kildare to buy my car and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Eddie

I was very happy with the service that I received from Dan Dooley garage.

Had my car serviced here. The service from the moment i dropped my car off to the moment i collected it again was top notch. I asked if i could get my fully polished, which they not only did to a super standard, they also hoovered and cleaned the inside of my car without me even asking, which was a nice surprise. Will definitely be getting my car serviced here again.

I recently purchased a Range Rover Evoque from Mark at Lyons, Limerick and I couldn't be more thrilled with both the vehicle and the exceptional service I received. From the moment I contacted Mark on the phone he made me feel welcome and valued, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable buying experience.

The professionalism exhibited by him was impressive. Mark took the time to understand my needs and preferences, guiding me through each feature of the Evoque with detailed explanations and genuine enthusiasm during the test drive to ensure I was safe using the features.
It’s a joy to drive and I definitely will return to Mark at Lyons on next purchase.

Overall, my experience at Lyons and Mark exceeded my expectations. It's not just a purchase; it's an investment in luxury and performance backed by exceptional service.
Thank you, Mark!

Excellent customer support. I booked in for a wet belt and service.
Everything required was explained perfectly with pricing. I got a full breakdown of all parts replaced at the end. Van was ready to go when they said it would be.

Had a breakdown with a busted coil spring, called around to see where I could get my car in for repair, everywhere was a 2-3 weeks wait. Called Lyons Volvo Specialists on the Ballysimon road in Limerick, Emma got me in the next day, took a few days to source parts and get the work done. Icing on the cake was a reasonable price for the repair work and also got the serviced too!!

I had my car serviced at Lyons of Limerick on Tuesday 10th of Feb. As always the staff were very pleasant to deal with. All issues that were possible to deal with immediately were looked after. Issues that needed time or parts etc ordered were explained to me. I got a 2 follow up calls the next day.

Absolutely recommend Sheils to anyone looking for a new car! Had the pleasure of dealing with Dave Hurley who was so informative, helpful and honest. He made the whole process so easy for us and gave great objective advice. A total gentleman! Will definitely go back there in the future

Took my Ford into the service department with a concern about the brakes, the staff said they tested the brakes and they worked fine!! I’ve been worried about the brakes for years and finally found an independent contractor out in Kilkishen Clare to test the brakes today, Roman auto repairs, he is so concerned for my safety that he will not allow the jeep to go on the road! He is calling Ford head service department in Dublin tomorrow morning about the issue.

Very incompetent service in Sheils limerick, my jeep has been very dangerous and a high safety risk for many years. Ford Ireland will be hearing of this issue now too.

Very poor attitude,
Be wary of the salesmen in Limerick.
Was purchasing a car back on January, very poor attitude by one individual, for privacy of the individual, Mr R.
He was pleasant at first and then he turned when a deal goes naturally fizzles out.
I bought the car in Shiels in Ennis, I personally found them lovely.

So this is a long story.

The service I received from Sheils Motor Group was atrocious to say the least.

I booked my MG in for a full service, and the earliest appointment available was three weeks away. About a week before the appointment, a check engine light appeared on the dashboard. I rang the service team and explained the issue in detail. I was assured that it would be looked at and resolved during the service.

On the day of the appointment, I dropped the car off. Eight hours later I was told the car was ready. However, five minutes after leaving the dealership, the check engine light came back on.

When I got home I rang the service department. The person who answered told me they had not been informed about the issue, which is simply not true as I had already called ahead about it. It appears the fault code may simply have been cleared rather than properly diagnosed, as the light disappeared briefly but immediately returned. I was then given another appointment two weeks later.

Three days ago I left the car with them again. Over the phone on the first day they said they were waiting on a part and the car would be ready the next day. On the second day, when we rang again, we were told their technician had taken the car home to see if the check engine light came back on.

Today we collected the car and were told the part had not actually arrived, and that we would need to wait another two weeks for a call.

To make matters worse, when I opened the boot there was someone’s lunch left inside the car.

The engine light is still on, the issue has not been resolved, and communication throughout the process has been extremely poor.

This is a 251-registered car purchased last year, and this level of service is completely unacceptable.

Honestly, I would not recommend anyone go through this experience. If it were possible to leave 0 stars, I would.

Made an appointment in autumn. Turned up at the specific day/time. There was no sales person on the floor (fair enough if was early Monday but still, I'd made an appointment). I walked into an office, guy helped me but didn't bother to get any sales person. He did show me the display model, said I could test drive and then walked off. Maybe he thought I was a time waster (I wasn't, I've since bought a car in the next shop I went to) . I ended up trying to open the boot myself on the display, a different guy waking by saw me struggle and helped. I asked him a question and he goes sorry I'm just a mechanic. I left after that. As a female it's daunting enough buying a car on your own but I'd hoped to have been taken seriously.
