Michael Moore Car Sales is one of the most recognisable names in the Irish Motor Industry, since Michael Moore Snr, our founder opened for business in 1972. We’re still a family run business and we have always prided ourselves on offering our customers exceptional quality and value for money at our Athlone & Portarlington dealerships for nearly 50 years.

We have built strong partnerships with all our brand partners, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi & Skoda and our continued success owes much to our team of over 115 knowledgeable staff. Our dedicated team of experts has retained the Moore family’s commitment to be the best in the industry. We take great pleasure in being able to guide each of every one of our customers, whether new or returning, through every part of vehicle ownership – the buying, financing, servicing and selling – all from under one roof.

We provide the finest After-Sales care for all our customers, so they can maintain their vehicle's impeccable condition and performance. Our Approved Workshops only use genuine parts for all servicing and maintenance, using the most advanced diagnostic equipment to highlight and resolve any issues. Whatever your needs, we’re here to help - online, in person or on the telephone.

The showroom was clean, cars well laid out.a very welcoming environment.
David was so polite and patient, also very knowledgeable about the brand. Answered all my questions clearly and gave a very comprehensive demonstration of the cars features.
I can't recommend this business highly enough.
A very pleasant experience. Thank you, keep up the good work

I had a great experience working with David from start to finish. His communication was excellent, always clear, timely, and professional,so I never felt left in the dark throughout the process. He was very easy to reach and made himself available whenever I had questions, which made everything feel smooth and stress free. On top of that, his knowledge really stood out, he took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I felt confident in my decision. Overall, David made the whole experience straightforward and enjoyable, and I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for a new car.

Dave Kavanagh Is Excellent To Deal With From Initial Enquiry Right Through To Purchase & Follow Up

We visited the showroom just to have a look. David was very nice and told us all about the different cars without really pushing a sale on us, which ended up working in his favour because we stayed longer than anticipated and bought a car. Would recommend anyone thinking of buying a new car to chat with David.

David was so persuasive, I ended up buying a car I had previously rejected - and I am more than happy! Facilities were lovely, all staff friendly and there was no rush.
