Brendan was brilliant to deal with from start to finish I’ll definitely be returning to him, highly recommend, hassle free.

Update: Returned for our second purchase for 262 Brendan again was very helpful 👍🏼

Great service from start to finish! Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and my car is running perfectly again. Highly recommend this garage for reliable and professional work. 🚗👍

Great service, lovely helpful staff, very organised and efficient, very experienced sales team. One visit was all it took both times I’ve negotiated a change of car.
Delivered one car to me at work….
Collecting my new car once they open in January!
Lovely bright spacious sales room and private offices.
Very friendly reception staff.
Couldn’t rate them highly enough!

Explained all my options and projected plans.

I would strongly advise avoiding them. My experience with the service department, particularly with supervisor Liam was extremely disappointing. His conduct was unprofessional and discourteous to the extent that I felt compelled to submit a formal complaint to Volkswagen Ireland.

On multiple occasions, service tasks were not completed as agreed and when these issues were raised the response was defensive and at times, confrontational. Overall, I found the department consistently failed to meet its commitments to customers and did not provide the level of service one would reasonably expect.

Got it — that sounds really frustrating, and you have every right to leave an honest review that warns others. Here’s a professionally written but strong one-star review you could post on Google:

Extremely disappointing experience.
I was charged €300 for a “diagnostic report” that I never actually received. Instead, they only added a short and incomplete recommendation on the invoice, which did not explain anything properly. When I tried to ask for clarification, the staff were rude and unprofessional, even yelling over the phone.

I have never experienced such poor customer service — no transparency, no respect, and no accountability. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this garage. There are plenty of honest, professional mechanics elsewhere who treat customers properly

Mullingar Autos is situated at the Dublin Bridge in Mullingar. It was established in 1972 and we are main Volkswagen and Skoda dealers..

This is now the third vehicle that we have purchased from Mullingar Autos. Their service and back up support is second to none. Even though they are main dealers for a specific brand, all our vehicles that we use were not within their portfolio, however this was not a problem. We have dealt with Aidan Reinhardt for many years and he is the reason that we keep coming back. They offered better trade in values than our local main dealer and I know the back up service is there when we need it. Could not recommend them more, simply good people!

Absolutely delighted with my experience buying my BYD Seal U Comfort from BYD Mullingar. I collected it today and could not be happier with the car or the service.

A massive shoutout to Mark, who was an absolute legend from start to finish. He was on the ball the whole way through, kept everything moving, and stayed on top of everything until the sale was completed. Any questions or problems that came up, Mark was there to help and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free.

Brilliant service and a genuinely great car buying experience. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend BYD Mullingar, and especially Mark. Five stars all day 🍻

Great guys to deal with and always a better trade in value than dealerships in Dublin I would 110% recommend to pop over if you’re looking to buy a car The workshop is excellent too I’m very particular regarding my car and it’s the only garage that take all your instructions and if something needs to be ordered they’re on the ball and schedule you in when part arrives 👍 will definitely buy more cars here 😜

Absolutely delighted with my experience at Mullingar Autos purchasing my new BYD Seal U. From start to finish, Mark was outstanding to deal with — professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy. He took the time to answer all my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
The BYD Seal U is an amazing car and I couldn’t be happier with it. Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect on handover day. Customer service like this is hard to find and it really made the experience special.
Highly recommend Mullingar Autos to anyone considering a new car, especially if you get the chance to deal with Mark. Thanks again!

Worst experience ever with a dealership. I bought a car, went to check it at the mechanic with the agent, turned out they're working together and planned everything out to lead me into buying it. First 2 weeks after buying it several alarms went on, last one was service engine and I couldn't start the car. I asked for a refund, the agent Shane sent me to the bank with the check, I went walking only to be told by the bank after waiting in line for 30min that they can't give me the money as it was paid by revolut transfer so the dealership must transfer the money to me. On the opposite hand I went to Kia Sleator, I had the best experience, the agent was so nice, he drove me around to finish the paperwork, showed me a lot of cars and gave me financing options, before buying the car it went into full service and wash. I arrived at Sleator tgey welcomed me with my name on one of the advertising screen inside, welcoming me saying that my car is ready for pickup.
