Murphys first started selling cars in Tarbert in 1969 when James Murphy bought the garage in the centre of the village. From there, along with his brother Des, they ran a busy garage selling both new and used cars.



Today, more than half a century later, Murphy’s are still selling cars in Tarbert.

I bought a car in November from Des and I can say it’s a trustworthy place to buy from had a couple of small issues which Des did sort for me 1 he didn’t really have to sort but did anyways for me !!

Simple, uncomplicated interaction with Des on initially remote/digital exploration of a trade-in deal and then facilitation of test driving and cutting a deal. Practical & easy to deal with.
