Murphy’s Truck and Van have been operating for over 50 years in our Ballymount premises. We are main dealers for Opel Trucks and Vans in Dublin. The Huge Opel range covers all sizes of panel vans from the compact Combi and Vivaro to the excellent Movano. The Opel Movano truck range is available in Box, Drop-side, Tipper, Curtain and Low Floor models. We have the largest selection of Opel commercials in Ireland.

In addition we have a full service and repair facility for all commercial vehicle types in addition to CVRT testing for LGV’s and HGV’s. This has been the best experience I ever had renting a vehicle. All the staff are so helpful and friendly (Linda, James) and John is an exceptional communicator who listen patiently and reply in a clear, concise manner. It is a rare thing nowadays to deal with a company who clearly values its customer service so highly. I rented a Ford transit for a trip to France and they are one of the few companies that let you take their vans abroad. The van was essentially new and in perfect order. These guys will do their best to make the process smooth and easy and it goes without saying that if I ever need to rent a van or truck I will not be looking anywhere else.

Great place - 100% recommend. Hired a box van with tail lift. Dealt with (I think) Susan on the desk who sorted all paperwork and when we needed to extend unexpectedly by a day she was brilliant. James did the van walk around and handover and was great. Decent price, brand new van and super staff.

I rented a Transit van for a week and was very happy. The vehicle was pretty new and in nice condition. The gentleman who did the handover and return was very helpful and showed me around the van etc. Everything was easy and people were helpful. I would recommend and they are also one of the few places that allow the van to go to the UK.

I have the best experience with Murphys Truck and Van Center. We have been bringing our ford transits there for CVRT for several years now and I find their checks thorough but also fair. We have had no problem with them all. I definitely recommend.

The standard of customer service provided is exemplary. At all stages throughout the booking process and the rental of the van, you are fully supported. Every member of staff that I met was friendly, courteous and most efficient in their respective jobs. The vans that I rented to go to France on two separate occasions were effectively new, and in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. John is a very fair and kind man and his calm demeanour alleviates the stress involved in an international removal. I would highly recommend this company and wish their business continued success.
