I’ve bought two cars from Premium Autos since 2021 and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. John runs a fantastic operation, professional, trustworthy and genuinely focused on doing right by the customer.

When I purchased my most recent car in 2023, Luke and Pat went above and beyond to help me secure the perfect car. They were patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process incredibly smooth from start to finish.

Both cars have been in excellent condition, fairly priced, and exactly as described. The level of service here is top quality and I’d highly recommend them.

Luke was friendly and attentive from the start, making the whole process smooth and easy. The car came with NCT, fully serviced and cleaned before I took it home with me. Premium Autos was recommended to me by a family member who had previously bought a car there and was very satisfied with the overall service and the after care also. I decided to go out and have a look and a chat out there when I was looking to buy a new car and I didn't go past them! The service was excellent. Friendly and honest, never trying to push anything that I didn't want, listened to what I was looking for, and stayed within that, not once putting pressure on me to 'up my budget' or to go with anything that wasn't what I was looking for. Luke was great, he was patient, gave me the time to look around with him, answered any questions I had. You will be given the time and attention that you deserve when buying a car from them, I wouldn't go past them and cannot recommend them enough. The car I bought from them is exactly what I wanted, and it is in fantastic condition, driving without an issue since I bought it. As previously stated, this is the second car bought by my family from Premium Autos and both have the same experience and both cars in great condition and driving perfectly since purchase. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed in the service given.

I financed a 2015 Mazda3 from Premium Autos, and my experience was  nothing short of a nightmare since signing the paperwork.
Initially, I was informed the car would be ready within days of finance approval and payment processing. This was delayed when a pre-delivery inspection revealed an issue requiring a new part. While inconvenient, I was understanding of this initial slight delay.
However, the situation quickly deteriorated. When I followed up, I was then told the car needed three parts, causing a more significant delay. After these were supposedly ordered and fitted, I received another update: a wrong part had been installed, necessitating the order of a fourth, OEM part.
At this point, the delay was already nearing two weeks, and my patience was wearing thin, despite my attempts to be understanding.
Once the "final" part was received and fitted, I was informed it still needed an additional 10 hours of work just to be "put back together." This update came on a Tuesday, leading me to believe the car would finally be ready by that weekend. Yet again, it wasn't.
Throughout this entire process, I had been given three or four different collection dates, and not a single one has been met. The communication has been consistently unreliable.
As ofAugust 13th, it had been 16 days since I signed my paperwork, and there had still been no confirmed date for receiving the vehicle. The latest update was a vague "it will be ready some point next week," which, given their track record, offers little reassurance. Finally I received the car on August 21st.

The situation became catastrophic immediately after finally collecting the car. The car was received on August 21st, 2025, but suffered a severe, immobilizing engine failure on October 10th, 2025. This means the vehicle ran for less than seven weeks (50 days) before breaking down. Diagnostic codes confirmed the critical issue was P055F (Low Oil Pressure) and P2262 (Turbo Boost), resulting from carbon buildup and a clogged oil strainer. This failure was directly caused by the cylinder head and injector work the dealer performed and failed to fix correctly before the sale.

This entire experience—from constant pre-sale trouble and delays to selling a car that broke down critically within 50 days due to a major, unresolved, pre-existing fault—demonstrates a complete lack of quality control, competence, and dependable service.

My son purchased a car from this dealership and unfortunately the whole process was far from smooth. It took four weeks to collect the car, with excuse after excuse about why it wasn’t ready. When he finally did get it, things only got worse — after just six weeks, the car wouldn’t start.
Despite claiming they would honour the warranty, they initially insisted he was responsible for getting the car from Laois to Waterford, refusing to send a tow truck. It took a lot of arguing before they eventually agreed to collect the car, repair it, and provide an extended warranty. The turbo needed to be replaced.
While the car was ultimately fixed, the overall experience was stressful, frustrating, and unprofessional. Based on what he went through, I would not recommend this dealership.

One positive is that at the same time I bought a Mazda 6, which has had no issues and was ready on time
