Hertz Car Sales was founded in 1977 with the goal of using cars retiring from its rental fleet to build the best overall experience for buying affordable used cars for sale by owner. We started with the best owner we knew — ourselves. And we quickly realized that by selling used cars from the Hertz rental fleet online, we could offer a wholly unique experience. Our expertise with the rental process, nationwide infrastructure and large inventory allow us to offer customers a 5-day test rental, which we felt was preferable to how anyone else offers used cars for sale by owner. If you're looking for affordable used cars, compare our used car prices to the competition, and then test rent one of our cars for 5 days. Not only will you fall in love with our cars, but you'll discover a reassuring, easy and zero-pressure used car buying experience.

Great attention and kindness to attend me during my purchase. Lovely cars available. It worth it to get a car with them.

Excellent service fantastic staff to deal with cars are of fantastic value and reliable vehicles no issues at all with them

It was nice working with the team, professional reliable and quick to respond. I would recommend anyone to buy their cars from Hertz car Sales North Dublin

Do not buy a car here. I have had trouble with my KIA car . I have it three years. It is only 4 years old and already I am being told the seven year warranty is void as the first service wasn't done within the 20,000 klm or twelve months whichever comes first.

I bought a 231 car 3 weeks ago from Hertz. I'm absolutely so upset there is an issue already. Hertz totally pass the book. Not helpful at all.
They were very enthusiastic until they got my money then nothing 3 weeks after the car has an issue.
Window wipers stop working in lashing rain they called it "a minor issue". No the minor issue nearly killed me on my way home from work.
No after sales customer service at all. Disgraceful

Hertz Car Sales

Hertz started with a small fleet of Ford Model T’s way back in 1918, a time when the very invention of the automobile was only 30 years old. From those humble beginnings, over the next hundred years Hertz honed and perfected their customer offering, establishing themselves as No.1 in the car rental industry.

Hertz Car Sales is still quite new to Ireland, but Hertz Car Sales has been making happy customers and enjoying continuing popularity across America for the last forty years. To put that in context Hertz have been selling motor cars since 1977, the year the first Star Wars movie was released and the same year Elvis Presley passed away. In those four decades, Star Wars has gone on to have numerous sequels, Elvis has remained the indelible King of rock and roll, and Hertz Car Sales have been continually striving to perfect the used car purchasing experience.

Hertz Car Sales dealerships have a wide variety of nearly new cars to choose from, with multiple leading car brands, models and specifications available. With a vast choice from our extensive fleet, we meticulously pick the best to sell on our forecourt. As you’ll find when you visit our used car dealerships, our cars aren’t old - they’re nearly new. Over the course of their young life, all our cars have been methodically maintained and kept spotlessly clean with weekly valeting, making our stock showroom fresh.

With our arrival in the heart of North Dublin, Blarney, Cork and now Dun Laoghaire, Hertz Car Sales changes the used car landscape in Ireland, bringing a new experience to the affordable used car market. Compare our prices and you’ll realise just how competitive we are. We endeavour to be the cheapest in the market place, but that doesn’t mean we cut back on our high standards or level of service. Our goal is to build on our long established reputation, to ensure we continually deliver on our high standards of customer service and ensure that we have exceptionally satisfied customers. Buying a car doesn’t have to be complicated. Our aim is to keep the whole process as simple as possible while still offering a 5 star service!

If you are looking to buy a used car - you’ve come to the right place. Welcome to Hertz Car Sales.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Dealt with Jean-Andre in the Blarney branch but bought the car in their South Dublin branch. Jean- Andre and the lads I the South Dublin branch couldn't be more helpful through out the whole process. When it's time to upgrade again I will certainly be back.

I recently bought a Peugeot 408 from Ryan at Hartz Garage, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Ryan was extremely helpful, friendly and professional from start to finish. He made the whole process straightforward and stress-free, took the time to answer all my questions, and never made me feel under any pressure. Also the other two lads were amazing help aswell 👏 🙌

I’ve got nothing but good things to say about you all… especially Jack, the sales assistant at the Dun Laoghaire branch… he helped me from start to finish… make sure you ask for Jack!

I haven't bought yet but I will say dealing with Ryan Vernon salesman was very good experience. He went through cars on forecourt price etc and reduced possibiloiyies to 3 which looked good possibilities . Overall a
good experience clear cut and relaxed no pressure just as you like.
I would recommend it to anyone and hopefully we can do a deal next week

I recently bought my first car here in Ireland from Hertz. I was assisted by Gianluca, an excellent salesperson who helped me with everything from the purchase and financing process to the test drive. I'm very happy with the service and support from Hertz! The whole process is simple and easy! I highly recommend them.
