Great service! I bought a car from here, and the dealing was excellent.

Had a very professional approach and review of my car, the parts were ordered and it was completed following day after all was approved, I am delighted with the results the cost, the video and advice given.  Very happy with the whole experience, my car is driving perfect now.  Wanted it in good hands as related to my chassis, tracking bolts and coil springs in the rear.  Now my car is aligned and it was the best idea to choose them.  Guarenteed results and got car back spotless and cleaned as well.  I am very happy with the look of the car and how it feels to drive now.

Best customer service so far. I was up for a brake fluid service and wheel check.  Every member of the staff I talked to, regardless of whether it was the receptionist, service manager, or mechanic, was always friendly, professional, and helpful.
I traveled from Clare, and they tried to minimize my waiting time as much as possible despite busy schedule. Really appreciate that.
Above all, I can't say anything less than praises for Oscar, who remembered me from the sale over a year ago and was very helpful during my whole visit,  ensuring my wait was comfortable and sharing his vast knowledge of the product answering even the silliest questions I had.

Poor. Car paint was destroyed during the complementary wash. Was offered repairs for a “competitive price”.

Could have, should have, would have gone to any of the other BMW main dealers.

A heads up for anyone else thinking of/ already taking their car here for maintenance in good faith. You’re not valued.

I was absolutely delighted with my recent customer experience at Frank Keane Blackrock. From my very first touch point via their social media right through to driving away in my new vehicle, the service was outstanding. Nicole, Deane and Zubé were very professional, patient, thorough and skilled at assisting me to make the best choice for me. The made it their business to get to know me and my requirements. As a Director of Sales myself with a premium brand the standard I’d expect would be high and they certainly did not disappoint. They were in no way pushy or “salesy” and I always felt they were giving me honest advice as opposed to closing the deal. As I was moving to a fully electric car there was quite a bit of explaining for the team to do and the choice was complex enough with so many options on offer. The team made it all as simple and clear as possible for me responding to every request in a professional manner. They are extremely responsive on communication and very friendly throughout. It’s clear that the showroom is extremely busy but once you have an appointment you won’t feel rushed. The customer gifting on handover is a lovely touch. This is a very well run business and the staff deserve high praise for their customer service skills. Flat tyre outside BMW Frank Keane Blackrock. (Driving a BMW i3). Phoned, spoke to Ciara - “drive into us now and we’ll take a look”. 5 minute wait and my HERO - Sean - from service dept. gave me an honest appraisal with options and importantly said…..”let’s check the quickest / least expensive option to get you back on the road asap”. Transpired it was a puncture, fixed immediately, and NO charge! Sean was SO pleasant and helpful. So impressed, I made an appt. for a full service before I left.  11 out of 10.  So refreshing to meet people like Sean and Ciara…. a credit to the BMW dealership & brand. Thank you! 🙏

Collected my "approved used" car 2 weeks ago. Buying experience was very good, handover went smoothly. Beautifully prepared car.
Shortly after noted an unexplainable  intermittent problem with the heater. Got the car booked in promptly and service dept got it sorted, with part sourced & fitted next day & a loan car offered while it was being done. Excellent service experience.
Easy to score high when all goes smoothly, it's how an organisation responds when there is a problem that really stress tests it. Very professional experience from Service Dept. Confidence restored.

Made a booking - but never recorded

I booked car in for service on 6 Feb and was given today 4 March. Dropped car in - waited 30 mins to find out they had no record of the booking. Staff were pleasant & respectful but very matter-of-fact about it. They rebooked me in. I'm OK with paying premium for good service - however this wasn't particularly good service.

Apparently I should have gotten a text 2 days before - Inference I took was that I should have known better.

I asked how I could feed back my experience directly to the company - the person directed me to the website but I couldn't find anything relating to giving servise related feedback - maybe I missed it.

Definitely beyond expectations. Very professional approach (Naois was very helpful), they could fix what two other garages couldn't. Reasonably priced. Pleasant atmosphere with complementary coffee and ample sitting room while waiting. Enough with parking space. Definitely a place to return for any BMW-related matters.

My German (Bavarian) registered BMW iX1 had shown problems but my local (German) main dealer could not give me a diagnostic appointment within a week & wanted the car for several days. As I had to drive to Ireland, I set off hoping for the best but the problem became acute & I was forced to act. Joe Duffy in Dublin gave me an appointment within a few days, did the diagnostics in a few hours, found the fault, ordered the parts & in a follow up appointment a few days later, carried out the repairs. All under warranty without any problems AND washed & vacuumed the car too.

Joe Duffy car depreciates by 10k in 10 weeks and that is by their own valuation.

Purchased a BMW 5 Series from Joe Duffy on December 5, 2024, for €48,000. While there was nothing wrong with the car itself, I quickly realised it wasn’t the right fit for me.

On February 21, 2025, I inquired about trading it in for a Z4 they had listed at €49,000. To my surprise, they offered me just €38,000 for the trade in, essentially a depreciation of €10,000 in just two and a half months. That equates to a €1,000 loss per week, despite the car being in the same condition with very low additional kilometers.

While I understand that dealerships offer less than market value on trade ins, a €10,000 drop in such a short time feels excessive and unreasonable. This kind of pricing practice raises concerns about fairness, transparency and their ethical values.

To find a fair “middle” ground, I made an offer of €9,000 plus my 5 Series as a trade-in, effectively valuing my car at €40,000. This was still an €8,000 depreciation from what I originally paid, yet my offer was point-blank refused

Just looked at reviews on Trustpilot regarding the Joe Duffy Group and I am shocked by the amount of negative reviews they have there.

Thank you for your standard response you seem to give to everyone, but unfortunately, it does little to address my concerns. The issue here is not just about “understanding my concerns” but rather the extremely unreasonable depreciation of €10,000 in just two and a half months despite the car being in excellent condition with minimal additional mileage.

Passing my comments to management is not a solution, nor does it change the fact that your trade in valuations are unfair and unreasonably low. It is disappointing to see a dealership of your reputation engage in such practices, a form of price gouging, making it clear that customer loyalty and fairness take a back seat to maximizing profit.
