Customer Reviews
Purchased a car last week from Derek and Patrick. Two fine straight and honest Claremen to deal with. I was delighted with the level of customer service I received. Would recommend this garage highly to anyone looking for a car in any price bracket. Will definitely deal with them again.
We bought a car from Patrick and from start to finish he was top class and so professional. He gave us a fair value for our trade in car and such a high level of experience, he knew the answers to all our questions. Would highly recommend to family and friends. This guy is a real asset here and we will be back again. Thanks again Patrick
Delighted with my Car! Patrick is very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent experience which is the main reason why I bought my car there and also the quality car I got as well which was in mint condition ! Thank you
I had been here 3 consecutive Saturdays looking at buying a new car. Each time I was there Patrick looked after everything and answered every question asked. I settled on a BMW and the car was ready in a matter of days. I’m delighted with the purchase and overall experience. 10/10 would recommend.
Losing stars here mainly because of workmanship of their garage mechanics/technicians when we bought the car. Whilst Derek himself and Patrick were great to deal with and had no issues with them personally, considering amount paid for the car, was very disappointed to find the shop floor guys that carried out the works, did a shitty job doing so and how it got let out in the state it did, I do not know. Did not find some of it till some time later, after which period would have been difficult for any recourse. The Xenon headlights didn’t work on day of viewing and had copped out a few times since but found issue myself. The guys in workshop absolutely butchered the wiring behind one of the headlights and left it exposed to further damage or corrosion. They left a mess underneath when the oil change was carried out, leading to me thinking there was a leak under it somewhere. There was wax / waxoyl sprayed everywhere underneath. I knew it wasn’t immaculate underneath either. A few months later on changing the number plates, I found a cigarette butt covering one of the holes behind it and the panel bent from butchering. Why not use the existing mounting points for putting plates on instead of turning a panel into Swiss cheese? Found also at a later date the steering rod gaiter had been filled with silicone to get it through the NCT. The replacement was about €25 and took me about 45 mins to put in. No excuse to shortcut something like this. Granted it was a cold January when we collected but it’s no excuse for shoddy workmanship from staff that don’t care about their job, I understand budgets and margins can be tight but any mechanic / engineer / technician worth their salt, wouldn’t have left the car in the state they did, especially around the butchering of the headlight wiring. Would I buy again? Only on the basis that whatever jobs to be done have been done to a good and acceptable standard.
