Visited Darren at Duffy Auto Services  last Friday to view a Seat Leon Estate as part of a day long trip visiting various Car Dealerships to test drive Estate cars that caught my eye. The Seat was presented in lovely condition and drove extremely well but ultimately wasn't what the car I was after. Darren followed up that afternoon with a quick call and when I explained that I wasn't sure the Seat was what I was after he said not to worry and that to call him anytime if I found a car in another dealership and he would share his knowledge on what to look for with the car in question. You can't argue with that for professional service !!. We found Darren and Hannah absolutely lovely to deal with and we honestly could have spent the day chewing the cud with them on cars and life in general. A very positive experience.

I recently brought my BMW to Duffy Auto Services for a diagnostic because the rear door wouldn’t open. I dropped the car off in the morning.

When I collected the car, they said they have diagnosed it and i need to visit BMW to fix the problem. I asked if they could show me the diagnostic report or any photos of what they had found. Receptionist told me no photos had been taken. She explained that the mechanic had carried out a visual inspection and connected a diagnostic machine.

I asked if I could speak with the mechanic to better understand the diagnosis. I was told he had already left for the day. I called the following day and was told he was out sick. I was then asked to call again on Wednesday, but since then my calls have gone unanswered.

I have no issue paying for a professional diagnostic, but I do expect clear communication and someone to explain the findings, especially after being charged for the service. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up and unanswered calls left me disappointed.

The receptionist was courteous throughout, but the overall customer service after the diagnostic was poor and needs improvement.
