My driver collected the trailer and parked it in our yard. We only started using it a few weeks later. After using it for a short time, we discovered that one of the tyre patches had failed. Then another tyre started losing air. When we inspected it properly, we found that the tyre had been repaired with two puncture repairs on the sidewall/outer shoulder, which is not an acceptable or safe repair. It appears the tyre had been fitted on the inside, making it difficult to spot the repair during a normal inspection. As soon as the repair failed and the tyre started leaking, we discovered what had been done. We now have to replace the tyre at our own expense. When I contacted the owner, Barry, instead of trying to resolve the issue, he accused me of trying to claim money from him because several months had passed since I bought the trailer. The timing is irrelevant—the problem only became apparent once the unsafe repair failed. Before buying, a couple of my friends warned me about dealing with NR Trucks. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately my experience proved those warnings correct. This has been a very disappointing experience. Customer service and after-sales support have been poor. I believe this could have been handled much more professionally. Because of this experience, I will not buy from NRTrucks again, and I will be sharing my experience with others so they can make an informed decision before purchasing.
