The lads were really helpful, easy to deal with and answered any questions I had without any hassle. The Golf was exactly as described and was in great condition when I collected it. A few minor repairs were needed beforehand, and they had everything sorted before I purchased the car, which gave me great peace of mind. We bought an Audi A1 and it had the NCT freshly done and it had AA approved checks. Absolutely delighted with my purchase off Sean, Bought a lovely Audi A6 from him 2 weeks ago. Family run business and they are all very pleasant and nice to deal with. Car had an issue with the alternator after 4 days, they came to my house with a loaner car and took my A6 away to be repaired, they also repaired a bushing that was knocking a bit on the front suspension and then returned it back to me a few days later, car is running very well now. If I was to say anything, it would be that Sean can be a hard man to get on the phone sometimes, but he will get back to you eventually. But I would definitely recommend Sean Doyle Motors and I am very happy with my car.

Make sure a separate, reliable mechanic takes a good look at any car before purchasing from this business. I purchased a car from Sean last year and had to take it back for break pad warning lights coming on within a few days of purchase. Sean originally said the car was fully serviced when I purchased, but took it back and said that his mechanic would replace break pads. Warning lights came on a few days later, and I reached out to Sean again, never hearing back. To make sure the car was okay to drive, I ended up taking it to another mechanic. He had to replace all the parts Sean said were replaced, and more, showing me the old parts to show that it was not done with Sean’s mechanic. He showed me the car was given to me clearly unsafe to drive. I reached out to Sean again about this, only hearing back weeks later, that he didn’t want to cover the costs of a separate mechanic. This would be understandable if he had been in any way responsive to my communication about the issues when they arose, or offered to have his mechanic look at it. Ultimately, I was sold a car that was unsafe to drive and was left with no communication from the business about it. Believe the other reviews on here about the lack of quality in cars being sold. Beyond having to cover the costs yourself, this is a real safety concern. This kid is a good salesman, but doesn’t show much concern for the quality and safety of cars he is selling.
