Just had the best service experience at Spirit Ford of Dublin.   Service manager, Brian was amazing.  Friendly, efficient and knowledgable, he quickly processed my car and had it back to me on time by the end of the day.  The car (Max) came back looking brand spanking new both inside and out.  In the 8.5 years I have owned the car, this was easily the most impressive service call.   I felt like I got a new car.

I recently purchased a Ford Puma from Spirit Ford, Stillorgan and the experience was smooth and I didn't have to do much. Everything was managed well. Steven managed the experience amazingly well and delivered the car on time and also helped me out with any queries I had. Overall an amazing experience.

Great service and repair. Identified the issues and rectified them same-day. Removed one star because I booked to come in on a certain day, yet was still waiting a couple of hours before anyone started work on the car. Altogether took about 5hours.

I used Ford’s pick-up and drop-off service last year and had an amazing experience, so I decided to book with them again this year. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing.

Even the booking process was difficult — when I first called, I was told I would be transferred to the mechanic to make the booking, but the call got hung up. I had to call again just to secure the service.

On the day of the appointment, the scheduled pick-up time passed without anyone arriving, and I had to call to follow up before they confirmed they were coming. After collecting the car, I received details of what needed to be done but no further updates. The car stayed overnight with no communication, and the next day I had to call again to find out what was happening. Only then was I told they would drop it off later.

I also found the pricing unclear. The work I chose was quoted at €180, but by the end the cost had doubled, with no explanation provided upfront.

Compared to the excellent service I experienced last year, this lack of communication, poor organization, and unclear pricing was very frustrating and makes me rethink my choice.

Pros
- getting the car serviced has always been very good and can’t complain about the quality of work done.

Cons
-In the last few weeks, I’ve called twice and been in once. Told I was to expect a follow up call and never received one.
- Firstly, I’ve called the service centre twice and somebody had taken my details and told me I would get a call back which has never happened.
-Secondly, I went in a few weeks ago to get quoted for a new car and told I would get a phone call the next day to go through figures which again never happened.
