My experience with this seller was extremely disappointing and stressful. Before purchasing the car, I contacted him requesting important information, including the car report and details about the vehicle’s history. I asked reasonable questions that any genuine dealer should be able to answer, but he was unable to provide the information and was dismissive throughout the process. I also felt I was not treated professionally as a woman. Rather than dealing with me directly as the person purchasing the car, he repeatedly preferred to communicate through my partner, which I found disrespectful and unacceptable. The car was sold to me with issues that were not properly addressed. The glove box was promised to be fixed before collection on Tuesday, but when I arrived it had not been repaired. Instead, he attempted to glue it, despite it being clearly snapped and not a proper fix. I also reported a strange noise coming from the car while driving and was told it would be looked into, but this was not done either. The car was not even properly prepared for collection and had not been valeted. I was left having to arrange cleaning myself after purchasing the vehicle. The most serious issue happened less than 24 hours after purchase when the engine began overheating. I had barely driven the car, yet it developed a major mechanical problem almost immediately. Although the car was eventually collected and I received a refund, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. A car dealer should provide honesty, professionalism, and confidence in the vehicle they are selling. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from this garage to carry out extensive checks, get everything in writing, and do not rely on verbal promises.
