Customer service was exceptional. I booked a test drive in a Kia PV5 van and I received a video of the vehicle prior to arriving stating the specification. Eli came with me on the test drive and his knowledge of the vehicle was excellent and he couldn't have been nicer.

Had a wonderful experience buying our new car here. Got a great trade in price and great after sales service. The salesman Caoileann was absolutely excellent to deal with as was the service staff. 10/10.

Paul Huyton and Sophie Kirwan made the buying experience as stress free as anyone could possibly expect. The test drive was great as was the deal I received, and any queries were answered promptly and clearly. All in all, it was an enjoyable, stress free buying experience. Hopefully, the after sales experience will be equally impressive.

I bought a car from Joe Duffy and also took the option for the "Smart" repair. The policy, as sold to me undertook to make good 15 small damages to the car for a 3 year period.
This was all well & good until I actually returned it for them to make the repairs. To my surprise they produced a new document, insisting that it was 15 repairs with 5 to be done each year. So you would have to return the car each year to actually get some use out of the policy. On top of that the car has to be checked in 6 weeks in advance and it takes 3 to 5 days for them to do the work.
I finally I collected my car after 4 days (they don't offer a replacement) the repairs we'd agreed that could be done, were not even done. So if you are getting a good deal on a car, that's fine but dont bother with any extras as they are being missold.

Absolutely dreadful customer service and sales team. I made an appointment to test drive a car , arrived and given a key of EV5 to drive but on return expected to get a valuation on my trade in and discuss an offer on a new car. Only one sales person , there seemed to be people getting trained. Waited an hour , no one came to me. Typical Joe Duffy unprofessional service

Joe Duffy Kia (North Dublin)

I got a second hand Kia a year ago from another dealer and chose Joe Duffy Kia to be my service center as I live nearby. Last year there was a recall on my car which I was able to get done here with no hassle and they even did a free health check as part of the recall work. The customer service was efficient and friendly. This week I had to do the annual service along with diagnostics of a mirror issue. Again the customer service was very friendly and the car was ready for collection after a few hours. Excellent experience so far and I would recommend this dealer. I have a warranty repair booked for March and fingers crossed for more of the same kind of experience. If all continues to go well with the car and the service I might consider a new Kia later this year.

Had a great experience with Cathal and the rest of the crew. They gave me a great trade in price against a lovely Kia. Betty happy, would recommend.

I recently bought a new KIA EV5 in March and could not have had a better experience. Many thanks to Cathal for all your help and guidance it was much appreciated.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

We paid a €500 deposit for a Kia EV9 in August 2025 based on clear commitments: agreed price, 0% finance, and delivery in early January. We provided all details and trusted the dealership to follow through.

From January onwards, communication was poor and reactive. We had to chase updates repeatedly, only to be told vague responses like “it’s in transit.” Months passed with no clarity.

During this time, finance terms changed publicly, so we visited in person to confirm whether this would affect our agreement. We were clearly told it would not.

Then suddenly on March 24th, we were told the car was ready. When we came in on March 25th to complete the purchase, everything had changed — higher price, finance now at 3.9%, and unbelievably, no finance application had even been started.

This is completely unacceptable. After holding our deposit for months and giving repeated assurances, they simply walked away from the original deal. What’s worse is that when we specifically asked about these changes earlier, we were reassured nothing would be affected — which turned out to be completely untrue.

To make matters worse, the manager’s attitude was dismissive and disrespectful, as if our time and commitment meant nothing.

This experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer respect. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this dealership. You are at risk if you are there!
To the dealership , We got enough and please do not reply to this.. What you have done is unfair. To the public, think twice before you go there!

I am very disappointed with my service experience. I booked the premium €436 service but called back the next day to downgrade to the basic €240 plan. I was assured this change was noted. Despite this, I was charged the full €436 premium price after less than 1.5 hours of work.

Furthermore, I raised an issue with the back seatbelt sensor, but was told simply to "test it," leading me to doubt if any proper diagnostic work was done at all.
This rushed service, compounded by the major error in billing, resulted in me paying nearly €450 for minimal work. When questioned, the only explanation for the extra cost was vaguely "more filters" versus "just an oil change." I received very poor value for money. Due to this significant billing error and the lack of diagnostic effort, I will not be returning to this dealership.

Receptionist was very welcoming, however!

**update as of 28/10/2025**

The team have completely stopped replying to my emails. They offered a “free” brake fluid change which wasn’t included in the crazy €430 feed (€250 was for labour) and have said that they “don’t want to start removing parts off the car” as I requested a refunded between the overcharged amount (their internal mistake) and the cost of the agreed basic service plan (€240). Would not be returning here.

Kia Liffey Valley opened its doors in December 2012 and is located in the Liffey Valley Motor Mall. We sell the full Kia range of new cars as well as a selections of used cars. We have a full service facility on site for both regular servicing of all makes of cars and body repairs. Finance can be arranged by our business manager with Kia Credit for new and used cars on a personal loan, a low rate PCP or on a business contract hire.

Very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy shown during the sales process. Doug Ryan expertly navigated my concerns and returned a competitive financial offer for me.

Car was available and ready to collect at the appointed time and a thorough walkthrough of new features was presented. All through, an excellent start to a new relationship. Thank you very much.

Bought my new car from Adrian in Kia Liffey Valley the whole process was so easy and took the time to explain all options available, I can’t recommend Kia in Liffey Valley highly enough, unlike lots of other garages, there wasn’t any upsell of insurance and useless products that only benefit the salesman. I would definitely buy from this garage again

Im obsessed with KIAs and it will be our next car. However the car brand is not the problem its the dealerships. I've been Ford all my life but a certain dealership in Finglas who is now KIA has made owning a Ford impractical apart from that Ford itself has messed things up with it range especially prices wet timing belts and attitude. KIA and SKODA are by far the best its down to the final 3, Niro EV EV3 and Enyaq. The 2 finalists in my dealership by far is Annesely Old Airport Road and of course KIA Liffey Valley. I met a really professional Sales Executive called Lisa and she gave me the courtesy of understanding what I wanted and she knows her profession while being pleasant and friendly. This place was recommended by a couple in their 80s who had a fantastic experience and bought a car from them. I will be going back with my wife to hopefully pick a car. By the way went to Opel next door to check on the Frontiera, horrible car very basic and the sales guy was equally basic.

Three years ago I had the pleasure of purchasing a Kia Sportage from Kia Liffey Valley and the experience was so positive that I returned with confidence Today I was warmly welcomed by the same professional team Doug Ryan and Juta Kraukle who made the entire car-buying process extremely smooth and enjoyable.
Doug Ryan is a true professional highly organized attentive to details patient and fully committed He delivers on his promises and ensures every step of the process runs seamlessly creating an environment of trust and confidence for the customer
Juta Kraukle is equally remarkable, offering a wide range of financial solutions and options tailored to each client She explains everything clearly answers all questions patiently and supports and encourages clients to make the best decision for their needs
The entire team at Kia Liffey Valley demonstrates professionalism care and attention to detail making purchasing a car a stress-free and highly satisfying experience I highly recommend this dealership and in particular Doug and Juta, for their dedication and outstanding professionalism

Have always had a good experience here and bought 3 different Kia Models from them. Doug is very direct and tells you how it is. You’re either able for that or you’re not. He’s not rude just a straight talker. The girls working there are always courteous, professional and polite and the service team are also great and on the ball.
