Customer Reviews
Regular customer at Al Hayes, for servicing mostly. Stephanie at Service Reception is super friendly and efficient. No issues with any work done on the car. Would definitely recommend.
Massive place. Went there to test drive an electric car. Had to wait a bit but given the time of the year and pandemic situation it is forgivable. At the time they had better finance deal going on of 1.9%. Staff were very approachable. The sales staff I dealt with showed me the car explained the main features and then offered me a test drive car. So overall my experience was pleasant.
Very happy with both visits for servicing, very nice people to deal with, very accommodating and friendly. Will have no hesitation in returning in the future.
Mixed review , I recently dealt with Alan in Portumna where they have a huge selection of cars /jeeps/vans . Very nice to deal with & I was happy with the vw jeep , he organised collection in the ennis branch on my request . On arrival in Ennis garage ( which is freezing ) it took them quite some time to locate log book and spare key, not much diesel in the jeep which was irritating after paying full price. The next day I got locked out of the jeep as the battery died in the key...not ideal 🙃 and I wasn't overly impressed. I do like the jeep and Alan is very nice to deal with.
Bought a 2009 Passat in portumna branch a few months ago, seemed like a fairly straight car wasn’t expecting anything crazy considering the year but paid strong money as I knew they were a VW dealership once upon a time. I hadn’t even got as far as Borrisokane and the coolant light came on. They eventually sorted this and a couple of months later the rear subframe completely collapsed due to rust. Exhaust was welded multiple times and eventually split. Another coolant leak then appeared as well as the radio intermittently turning off and another problem with diesel and not starting. Never again
